Kyle, sorry about the bad climate change in the Philippines. In our province of Leyte they have flooding & landslide also all over Baybay, closer to the coast & the mountain sides. I feel sorry for them, bec. most of them haven't recovered yet from that typhoon Odette, & then, just recently, there was that non- stop rain. That was nice of Mama Rose cooking arroz caldo for the people that wete affected by the stormy rain. Ingat kamong tanan dinha! God bless!

Lucky people, those debris can be used for cooking outside or functional garden furnitures. Collecting them and drying is a productive exercise. Beach is cleaned and debris lots of uses. I would be glad to do it

My favourite breakfast when I am in a certain cafe in south London is the "Fat Boy Special no: 9" (breakfast of champions in my humble opinion), so I was intrigued about what food would be on offer, especially as you were unaware of it of a dish or something. Me too, I do enjoy storytime with Mama Rose. It could be a monthly feature on your channel. I am very open-minded about life and respect people's beliefs, traditions, and customs. As an outsider watching what was happening to you guys, and one thing after the other, it just did not feel right to me and I started to wonder, what next... And I thought great, rain has stopped, Mama Rose says to whatever to go away and in the next scene, it is like you are driving in a monsoon. Mama Rose will prevail, she is too nice not to. BTW, the waterfall looked epic in all its might and I would love to see the pros tackle that beast.

I remember when I was a kid growing up in the province we also live near the sea. During this type of weather (habagat) a lot of driftwood line the shores. Me and my peers would pick those and dry in the sun for free firewood since we don't have trees other than coconuts in our barangay which is not a good source of firewood.
bulalugaw started first in Maco Davao de Oro way back 3 -4 years ago kulas. and they are still serving their delicious bulalugaw until now they are located fronting the road going to the military camp along the hi way

Hi kulas, you'll see a lot of debris, when there is a typoon but I believe, the low pressure bought that one since we have one today. You'll see a lot more of debris when the season changed from northeast monsoon (amihan) to southwest monsoon (habagat). Take care always, i love to watch your vlog.
