I am currently in NZ and studying BSc Physics and Math, planning to be secondary teacher here. Teaching is the noblest job in the world! Take care! Next goal nyo naman po is to be a principal! Life in Australia with Kate hi ms kate i would like to ask. is masteral degree really needed when applying a teacher position in australia. I only have bachelors degree major in special education. I worked overseas also for a year and a half as a sped teacher. What possible recommendations can you give me. thank you so much and have a nice day.
nakakahappy ang vlogs na ganito kasi naeshare mo sa iba ang mga infos para alam nila paano mag wualify as teachers in Aussie, pero nasadayangan rin ako kung malaki lang sana sahod natin sa Pinas we dont have to leave our homeland.. :(
I like yang yello car mo. Ang sarap i-drive yan for sure.
Definitely love this #fiatCar. ill give a tour soon. You're right ang dami nga naming mga Filipino Teachers dito and im happy to share that they can also do it! I hope i get to inspired them here 😆😁
Hi Kate. I'm from CDO myself and a graduate of XU as well. I stumbled upon your video and this really helps. I'm thinking about applying as a SPED teacher there in AU. I have been teaching in DEPED for 12 years. Hope I can successfully get there.
Hi Teacher KC, kamusta? GOGOGO Atenean! To be able to work here as a Teacher here, as I mentioned from this vlog, you need to have you qualifications assessed here. And depending to which State you are planning to stay. your experience is a plus if planning to work here but in my own experience, we have to learn from the start. Lahi rajud ilang system dani Teacher KC. Goodluck and message me if you need to know more. Thanks.
@@lifeinaustraliawithkate Sure tanawon jud nako tanan. Ehehe. Can I PM you sa messenger if in case naa koy questions? Hehehe.
@@lifeinaustraliawithkate hello ma’am, I search how to be a Registered Teacher here in Australia and I’m glad I’ve landed here.
Please provide info if you know the answer. Sorry didn't check the comments. 1. Teaching practicum 45 hours = what will be the alternative for non Education graduates (Unit earners), they may not have a teaching practicum component for their professional education yet they passed LET and are duly registered professional teachers in PH. 2. Documents from the school (college/univetsity), will Australian teacher's board accept your personal copy, does it need to have the DFA attestation? Or they require the school to send them a copy directly? Same goes to PRC requirements like License and Certificate of Registration. 3. Additional info, I read that if you have Aus teaching license you can apply for UK teacher registration also for equivalency. 4. How about working with Children check? Is thatvthe same as the police background there? DCIS in your video? Can someone from overseas process the criminal check or they need to be physically there in Australia? For VIC working with children check appicanta should be there in Australia.because they will apply it at the postal office. Thanks.
Thank you po.... super dream come true. Pero grabe yung experience ko. Hehehe pero worth it namn po in the end. Thank you for visiting my channel... 😊😉
Hi new subscriber here! I'm also planning to move in AU because my husband is working in New South Wales. I'm working here in PH as a Restaurant Manager and nag sisideline business ng Customized Cakes (Home baker and cake artist ako) I got here, in ur videos to get some info. Considering I'm asian, laganap ang asian hate and ma meet ko ba standard nila.
Hi Sheena... kumusta? Thank u for watching my channel. You need to be a registered teacher in Australia to be able to teach here. I hope this helps you. Thanks
Hello Jean... now you know 😚😊 Thank you for watching my video. Get inspire and motivated. It will not be easy but you can do it. DreamsDoComeTrue. Goodluck! 😊
Hi Ms. Kate! Im your new subscriber. So thankful that I found your video. May I ask what is the first step to do if your applying as a teacher at nandito ka sa Pilipinas. I am confused whether to take the IELTS first.
Hi Laura... i'm happy to know that this is helping and motivating you. 😊Please help me share my channel. Salamat. In my case, i processed my teaching registration here in Australia. I was under on my husband's working visa. If you are planning to migrate here in Australia and be a registered teacher here it is still your choice to take ielts from the Philippines. Kasi pwede rin namn dito mag take ng ielts or the islpr- the other option for English test. And other documents has to be taken here like the Mandatory Training which is a one day course. I hope this gives you idea. Ang haba! Hahaha 😊😅
Hi Maam Kate?Do you have any social accounts? I might need your guidance in the near future. ;) heheheh I wanna go there in Australia too for my family's future. You are an inspiration to me now that 'DREAMS REALLY DO COME TRUE.". So glad that I found your channel. I love working with kids too. I am currently teaching here in Thailand. I hope I can be there in Australia by God's grace.

Hi Maryna... Thank you for watching my vlog. Goodluck to your application. I did few tests but i never give up! NOPE! So go for it! Be a registered teacher here 😊
Hi Kate, I just wanna thank you for this very informative video. I processed my teaching registration with Victoria Institute of Teaching and just a couple of weeks ago, I received both Primary/Secondary Teacher Registration and Early Childhood Teacher Registration. Wooo! 🥳 This video was very instrumental in the process. So from the bottom of my heart, thank you so much again and please keep posting videos as they inspire a lot of your ‘kababayans’ like me. 💕

Hi, @Bruce Duran, May I ask if werr you in the Philippines when you processed your papers for teachers registration in Au? Thanks in advance for replying :)
@@preciousviloria3503 hi Precious, you need to be here as there are requirements that Only here you can get like the Mandatory Training. I hope this answer your question. Thanks for coming back 😉
Hi Ms. Kate. I'm so thankful I found your video today!!! 😁 I am also a Qualified Elementary Teacher in the Philippines... I am currently here in Australia under bridging visa (with full work and study rights). P.S. Partner Visa po ang inapply kong visa at processing pa sya kaya naka bridging visa ako ngayon.
Hi Anne.... you can always inquire to TRB about your plan. Don't worry they will answer your questions and inquiries. Ganun ako noon, no ideas at all but went there to inquire... goodluck miss Anne 😊
Hello Ma'am Kate, Salamat kaayu for sharing! Big help kaayu. Promise! So happy for you. Also, I'm curious if ever pwede ra kaha makapa assess sa VIT if Tourist Visa pa lang? Hope to hear from you soon. God bless!
Hi Adora 😊❤️ Welcome to my channel. I am not sure but they will require you to submit your visa. You can always try to ring the registration if you're coming here as a tourist. Goodluck Adorada!
Hello ma'am! Nakakainspire po yung video nyo. I'm planning to go there next year po. Ask lng po sana ako, May other way po ba na mkawork po as an early childhood teacher w/o taking ielts? Please reply po. thank you!
Hi Quennie... thanks. This is all my vlog all about 😊 To inspire and motivate! I think there's a way but im not sure. You can always clarify it to the board. If teachers from overseas and wanted to be register, they will require you that English Test. Or you can study the Bachelors of Early Childhood of Education which will cost you. Thanks for visiting...
very inspiring mam😍🤩 namotivate ako sa inyo mam😍. I've got my professional license in teaching secondary level last October 2, 2022 but i don't have any formal experience yet here in the phil. Im planning to study with cert III and Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care in Australia. qualified po kaya ako na mag registered as Teacher sa Australia? especially pag natapos ko na yung studies ko mam? salamat sa pagsagot mam☺?
Hi Janet... kumusta? Sorry sa late reply 3😊 and welcome to my channel. As long as you have all the qualifications I mentioned plus you attended their mandatory training, have your philippines qualifications assesed. Go for Diploma, easy lng na course yan and in line pa rin sa teaching and helping children. ❤️👏
Hi Kate thank you for this very informative vlog. Thank you po and hoping this year makapag PR na kami family. Keep safe and Godbless
Hi Chona... kumusta? Sorry for my very late response. If you graduated the 4 year couse ECE, you can have your qualifications assessed here. But i'm not sure if this will lead you to be PR here. TEACHING Experience from home is a plus. But iba yung ECE system nila dito compare sa atin. Nakaka shock. Hehehe but i wish you goodluck sa plan niyong magpunta dito sis. 😊😉
Hello Ms Kate. Thank you for your vlog! We’re waiting for my 189 visa to be granted and I want to pursue teaching in Aus. I have a suitable assessment from AITSL. Do I need to go through all the steps again? 😁
Hi Ma'am Kate, I'm from Cebu, I'm currently a high school public teacher (DepEd) , I finished Bachelor of Education in Physical Science pag 2019, after graduating I immediately worked in a private school for 2 years and got an item in public school for my 3rd year (2022). I really want to go to Australia and work as a teacher. But I don't have any idea how and if its even possible, I'm really thankful I found this video ♥ and gave us the information. But I want to ask if how did you apply for a specific school? Do you need to be in Australia to process your teacher registration? Thanks Ma'am Kate!!
Hi Leani... thank you for visiting my channel 😘 and good thing nakit.an nimo akong video. Regards sa mga taga Cebu! 😘😘😘 Your determination and motivation will help you get into your dreams. In my case, i had my wife visa and became a permanent resident. Given the status as permanent resident, it was easy for me to have all my qualifications assessed by the board. If you are from overseas like Philippines, you need a visa to be in Australia. I am not an expert about student visa or other visas as your entry here. Pero once you are, we have our chance to be registered teacher here in Australia as I mentioned from this video. In other cases, ang uban mag take ug Diploma in Early Childhood of Education and Care as their entry course. I made a vlog about this course. Goodluck Leani! Dreams Do Come True!
Good day po:) medyo marami po akong tanong..hehehe 1.saan nyo nga po sinend ang mga credentials nyo s stage 1? And how and where to take IELTS po? 2. Ano po yubg website n tintukoy nyo for prof. Dev trainings?
Really inspired by this vlog. Came here under spouse visa too and it was very hard for me to leave my career in the Philippines. I was also a registered teacher in the Philippines (secondary-biology major) and always wanted to work with children again. Been trying to find ways to register in Australia and this vlog popped in my recommended videos. Will definitely work my way to become a registered teacher here. Thanks so much for this video.
Hello po, ma'am. Last year po till now, it's my heart's desire to teach. I graduated with Bachelor of Secondary Education-major in English po, but since being with the talent of music is in our blood, napermanent po ako as Music teacher. It's now my 5 years in teaching sa Deped pero gusto ko na pong pumunta sa Aus to fulfill my dreams and now may basbas na po ako ang aking magulang. My husband's cousin din po ay willing to help. Mam, I want to keep in touch with you. I need your guidance po. Please help me, ma'am!
Hello Po Ms. Kate... Thank you for this very informative video. Proud bisdak here😀 I just to want ask if pwede ba mag apply for (registered) teacher dha sa south Austrilia bisag dili Bachelor of Education? I finished Bachelor of Arts in English Language... Again, thank you and More power!

Hello Kate, Do you have idea if iba Bachelors but education unit earner ka sa Pilipinas and a professional licensed teacher pwede din ba mag apply to become a registered teacher here in Australia?
Hi Precious Pearl... welcome to my channel and thank you for watching! 😊❤️ i'm not really sure if that works. But i will try to clarrify this to the teaching registration board here. Kasi madaming ngtatanong kung pwede. Thanks for the feedback! ❤️😊
Hi ma'am , new subscribere here! Thank you for sharing your experiences. May I ask po regarding what you said na "tayong mga teachers sa Pilipanas are qualified to be registered teachers there in AU" , does that mean na never or walang possibility na madeclined ang pag papa assess ng qualifications natin? Thank you so much mam in advance for replying. It will be of great help mam.
thank you subscriberMate Precious! As i have mentioned from my vlog, we can be a registered teacher here in Au provided all the qualifications and requirements i have mentioned. I have helped some TEACHERS from Philippines to have their papers assessed, never surrendered and finally got their registrstion. Goodluck to you! 😉
As a teacher, which type of visa am I going to get? Can you atleast make a vlog how did you get there from the beginning? Thank you so much.. Hoping for your response😊😊😊cheers! We are a couple and we wanted to work there for good. He is qualified to get a skilled visa, do we still need to study there for higher chances of getting a better job? Which type of visa is best for us to get? Any recommendation? 😍😍
Hi Miss Kate!👋 Kagay-anon here too! I currently work as a Kindergarten Teacher sa DepED particularly in Macabalan Elementary School. I will be moving to Sydney 2 weeks from now. I will be on Student Visa. Mag Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care ko. Dili pa ba na sya enough for me to be a registered teacher?
Hi Cherry.... im glad you still choose to work with children 😊 once you get your PR here, you can apply to the teaching board for assessment... please be still positive... you will be registered here if you work on it. At the moment focus on your course and see what Australia education system here especially in ECE 😊
Hi... i have decided to do ISLPR that time and you have to get all 4s in all areas. 4 is the perfect score in ISLPR. Better than IELTS para sa akin ha 😊👍
Hi Ms. Kate, new subscriber here! I'm also here in Australia and currently living in the Gold Coast. I am currently working in the kindergarten room (for 2 years) as an educator but I would like to be qualified as a teacher. I am a high school teacher in the Philippines for 5 years before moving here. AITLS or ACECQA?
Hi Ervas 😊 Salamat sa pag subscribe! 😆 my new subscribermate! Super overwhelming nga yung paper work sa Kindy Acequa! Kaloka but bongga pa rin sa school.... hehehe about registration, you should contact your board on how you can be a registered teacher there...we have almost the same requirements for an overseas teacher. start requiring... Goodluck Erva! 😊
Hello Mrs. Kate, what kind of English proficiency test did u use to apply? IELTS, ISLPR or PEAT? Am strugling to get 8 in speaking and Writing skills 😬
I feel you! It is not easy but still go for it. I did IELTS and ISLPR. I tried both just to help me pass the English Proficiency Test! I hope you get it too 😊😉
@@lifeinaustraliawithkate hello! another question po: if my degree is in english education and i qualify as a teacher there in AU, can I teach there po kaya given that my major is in English and not Science or Math? thank you for your answers!
Good day Ms. Kate. I'm very ecstatic upon watching your post. My husband is working in australia and we're planning to be united in their the soonest. I'm a secondary school teacher here in the philippines for 8 years. I have an active PRC license but i only had a diploma in teaching secondary education. You know that in the Philippines PRC allows those with at least 18 units for professional education to take the board exam. So according to you it is a requirement to take up Bachelor in Education..😔 so how would that be just like in my case? Mission impossible na po ba? 😔
Hi Rechielyn... im glad you found this vlog. Which state are you moving? I have posted the website to where to can read more information as well. Did u do 45 days practical teaching?
Ask your husband to ring the board about your case so you can prepare other documents you need to have. Since you are still in the Philippines start gathering your documents and ask your husband to inquire.. goodluck po 😊😁😊😊
Yes that's the problem. Maybe enroll again in teaching diploma and get the practical teaching component na lang. Unit earner din ako mam. Yan dilemma ko. Hahanapin kasi talaga sa website nila.
If wala nimo na attain ang desired IELTS score for some areas maam kate and then you take other test like what you mentioned macover gyapon nila ? say naa raka sa 7 or 7.5 sa uban areas sa IELTS test unsay himoon para mu qualify sa english proficiency? Thank you in advance and godbless po 😊
Hi Rheelee... thank you for visiting my channel 😊. You need to attain every required score in each area. It is not negotiable... i had few attempts and never surrender. Goodluck!
Hi Jem. My teaching experience was not really included during the assessment. Those documents I mentioned in this vlog are the qualifications they needed. Goodluck guys!
Did you take ielts? How many times did you take it before you got the required scores? Took it twice, and I’m just 0 .5 away from speaking. Bit discouraged. Thanks!
