I was in the Philippines in February and went to the Temple of Leah and Cebu Topps and it rained too, but I have been on a glorious sunny day and it is much better. I went to Bohol too and enjoyed it. I love the Philippines and adore the people because they are so friendly and happy and can't wait to go back again. Nice to see you all having a good time.
Yeah, the temple of Leah was rained out this trip. Luckily, we did see the Temple of Leah in 2019 on our last trip and it was great. Bohol is wonderful though and was sunny both times I was there. the Loboc river cruise was the highlight for us this time.
@@BobCash glad you got to see it in nice weather. I’ve been to the Philippines a lot of times and it’s a beautiful place but it’s so much better when it’s sunny especially for photos and videos. While most Westerners say that Filipinos are warm and friendly, it is very sad to note that most of the Western expats here don't respect the culture of the Filipinos as they constantly throw insults at the local food, always whine about the locally-manufactured items as not at par with the West, that poverty, the cultural practices they hate and many other insulting remarks. Yes, not all of them act that way but maybe only about 10% of them who reciprocate how local Filipinos treat them. Westerners are ungracious visitors, generally speaking. Western vloggers thought are very careful but their praises are also very insincere that they often viewed as clickbaits just to attract views and subscribers. It baffles me a lot why these Western expats date or even marry a local Filipina if they don't like the culture. The union must only be for life's convenience 'to avoid a lonely death' or a 'lonesome living' without a nanny as a housekeeper or a 'babysitter'.

I would have liked the post VO to be 2dB louder... with nat sound ducking, but what do I know? Still a treat to visit a land where the sky leaks water and the ground is soft with liquid saturation. Oh wow, four years. We know it will take some time now once started. They say they are now trying to expedite the Philippines side, but the U.S. side is is still 2 more years.
