Philips Norelco OneBlade Face + Body 2018 Unboxing & Overview 

I just wanted to see how to take the skin guard off without breaking it, so cheers!

I only watched this so I could figure out how to open mine 😭

As a product update I'm very happy with using this trimmer to "shave" my face. It's almost as close as a shave however I do find myself missing spots and having to go back over areas when I see I missed something and that never happens when I use a razor. For the nether-regions I tried the trimmer with the skin guard in the shower and found it to hardly work as the attachment just didn't comb the hair enough to pull it into the blades so I had to use many passes and then ended up just using the trimmer with no attachments and I had better results but along with cuts. Today I used it again while dry and it worked near perfectly with the skin guard and there were just a few spots it couldn't get any closer with so for those I removed the skin guard and stretched out the skin to make sure nothing got caught and it came out with near shave-like results in less than half the time shaving would take. Also all this has been done on the same original charge so for here and there trimming it should last for quite a while on one charge.

So going to buy one. Thank you for the review

How big is the skin guard? I have the norelco body groom but the smallest guard is 3 mm. I was hoping for 1.5 or so.

I converted the packaging form into a stand. The u -shaped clasp is very flexible and I broke off the central portion to make it into two pieces to easily remove the trimmer. Works well. I Also changed the green paper with a different design. I wish they would have made it a stand from the start.

How long did you charge it for before FIRST use?

Mine had the oil and glued on parts too.

Ni Cad batteries have to be completely discharged before you plug them in to charge, or yes, or will shorten the battery's lifespan
