Update on 9/12/16:
The Philips Norelco OneBlade shaver has replaced the manual Gillette Fusion shaver that I had due to its strong performance. I haven't had to recharge it since I've gotten it back in June. I shave 2-3 times a week. About a minute or so per use.

Thanks, my trimer turned on too when I opened. But thanks for the video, I was really struggling to open the box haha.

And just as yours did, my blade FLEW off when I opened the box. Then to discover it was BROKEN. All the attachment points but one were severed

Only viewed to see how to open the box. There is a tab in the centre of each side where the clear plastic looks like it is doubled. I cut through those with a sharp knife and the whole of the back comes away.

thanks for the video! I picked this up for 15 bucks at walmart and I spent like 10 mins looking all over the package going how in the hell do I open this?

I think if you remove the feet on the bottom the box will be easier to open. That's what I'm trying. Just happened to notice they move while watching you man handle it. It has to be some kind of hazing: if you're not man enough to tear open the box then you probably don't have enough hair to worry about trimming... 😄😄😄

Yeah, that seemed to help. There was kinda an order once you got the front off by pulling those four smaller tabs (midway on each side) up and away from the back housing. Mine wasn't already charged. Hopefully it will be charged by the time I stop for the night. I'm an OTR trucker. I don't look like the profile pic on the left therw. I've been growing a beard for over a year now. It's Duck Commander / Uncle Since long. I've given up on training my moustache to grow around my mouth and not get into my food, so I bought this as an early Christmas present for myself.
