Absolutely fantastic artist in the making and his natural ability to feel the music is unreal. From here in England your audition was fantastic and wish you all the very best on your American Idol journey and hopefully to be crowned winner. As a hometown boy, winning Idol, I bet his town is so proud of him. The thing I loved about Philip was and is that he doesn't try to change the person inside that he is meant to be. If you hear him on radio (and we all will) there is no-one that sounds exactly like Phil. He is a true individual and unique talent. I wish him all the best with his health and pray for a speedy recovery so that he can get back to doing what he does best.

I'm a huge fan of Phillip's and my wife and I watch Idol just to see him. A little background on me I'm 31 and married and will be attending my 25th DMB concert this summer. Any fan of Dave's should be an instant fan of Phillip's. I personally hope to see him perform with Dave some day as I know that Dave is always supportive of rising musicians that have the "funky" type of sound...It's sad that you have to attack someone that is so naturally blessed with talent

In reality he has a passable voice, but his guitar, his feet/legs, his smile and his hazel eyes will captivate an audience. I watch him in AI mezmerized by his performance even tho I don't know what he was singing.

In fame it is inevitable for people to try to put you down. He has some similarities to all sorts of artists but don't all musicians get inspiration from somewhere? Why aren't people putting him down for playing guitar, other musicians do that too. This kid is amazing and it is impossible to forget what he is doing right now.
