Even though Edison DIDN'T invent the lightbulb... One of the workers (not Edison himself) perfected the filament part, but the bulb was already a thing. But, as usual, he claimed everything for himself, thereby making a mockery of every 'USA Number One' history class ever taught.
Even Tesla is not the turning point of history (and we know how much the Edison person invested in disproving Tesla/Westinghouse, if he went along we could have had mobile phones 20 years earlier. But maybe also ww3 and destruction.)
nah....not so good for every repug president, with george the stupid winning as the biggest joke of the repugs, but hands down and absolutely the most destructive was the mango mutt. we may never recover from the red menace damage.
She's savage! I wonder how these people she interviews are approached. Are they warned in advance that she's doing satire or do they find out the hard way.
I love how it's edited like cunk is interrupting the expert and blirting out another question. This is great is this an episode of cunk on Britain or an entire series on the US? 😂 loved cunk on earth 🌎 😂
Seeing how Diane Morgan said in an interview that by the time they did Cunk on Earth, the cat was out of the bag that it was a comedy, so some of the experts they interviewed cracked in the interviews, so they needed to redo the question. The American man tlaking about bear arms and Abraham Lincoln looks like ges doing a second take on his answers. I bet he cracked a lot! 😅
@@wreckball2315 Clément Alder (2 April 1841 - 3 May 1925)[1][2] was a French inventor and engineer who was born near Toulouse in Muret, Haute-Garonne, and died in Toulouse. He is remembered primarily for his pioneering work in aviation, He first flew in 1890
Not me! I'm American and love Philomena. I cant wait until she does a series here and absolutely destroys the trump crowd. All of them are uneducated trash who would slobber to be interviewed by a hot chick from the BBC. America is VERY fertile ground for Philomena 😂😂😂
You are that far as simplifying history in a much complex approach, just because you want to grasp a large amount of event which are part of american history.
@@Funease what about the 2000s election? Turned out marvellous? Some say mr 70ties who sat with Begin etc for years was also a clown, playboys got shot because of course they do, so do actors but still live to see veryvery old age and get paid and catered to.... The 2016\17s clown's banner was merely bigger and easier to understand, even for toddlers. So "until 2016" is not really impressive (it isn't in my country either, so... But murica IS the loudest).
She has to spoil it by being political. What I think would be funny is if after the line about 2016 I would hit her round the head wuth a 2 by 4 until she said something really outrageous but accurate and said 1945 instead. Or maybe even Dec 7th 1941. What she demonstrated here was not only wasn't she funny but she really was totally ignorant about history.
@jeyzeus I'm not. This sh*t is being pumped out by the propaganda machines 24/7. Her stupidity is genuine on this score, is not an act. The remedy I prescribed would be apt. It's a shame we live in a country now governed by a group so illegal we've not seen anything close since 1066, that her ignorance is deemed acceptable. I find her funny. So there's nothing wrong with my sense of humour, her politics are anything but and should be stamped on in no uncertain terms. It's quite literally treasonous.
America gained its character back in 2016. We established the most respected constitution in the world. Copied by free loving people everywhere. We threw the Brutish out of our country and then saved theirs!
@@PeaceTrainUSA-1000 Honestly, he is likely from another country in the American continent. I'd say Canadians, Mexicans, Peruvians, etc. all agree with America not being a country.
