King Arthur Came a lot didn't he? Twitter: OnCunk Sharing all things Cunk - a fictional character from Charlie Brooker's Weekly Wipe, Cunk on Britain, Cunk on Shakespeare and Cunk on Earth - Portrayed by the incredible Diane Morgan.
@@ep073132No. Moses, Isiah, Elijah, John the Baptist, Jonah, and all the other prophets never claimed to be the Son of God. They never claimed to be King of the Jews, and they never tried to insert themselves into the trinity. That statement is just false.
I love her "My mate, Paul" stories, she doesn't have many of them, but I find them hysterical when she drops one in. Much appreciation from the midwest USA.
She really blinked a few times like that was the hardest interview ever after the tablespoon question, props to her to actually tried to give answer to each ridiculous question 😂😂
The fact that she's trying so bad to hold her laughter at Cunk's ridiculous questions is so amusing and funny to watch. The whole "Jesus painting himself" bit became my favorite after the Camelot one because how she ended up following along with the joke but still trying to keep herself as professional as she could lol Also the Camealot clip became 10x times funnier knowing that it was the first thing she asked to the professor after she sat down lmao
Oh! I love her expressions. I mean Dr Laura. Philomena is a phenomenal character I know. But this professor is so so delightful to watch, she is different from all other professors Philomena has ever faced.
@@UnsightlyVessel That is a battle... One invades being armed with stubborn stupidity... The other resists being "defeated" by either showing anger or laughing out loud.... Isn't it quite a battle then? 😂
Professor Ronald Hutton did pretty well. He always has a twinkle in his eye. And he has spent a lot of time being interviewed by modern witches, druids and other rather unusual people.
One of the best professors in the show, she tries to explain and answer most of the questions, but acknowledges when she can't. She knows her subject, and doesn't come off as condescending
The interviews are all so good. But my favorite Cunk bit is when she's looking at stone-age tools in a museum and points out the stone axe is "as well as boring, they are shit". :D
I love watching them try desperately to grasp her non sequiturs, and develop a professional answer. Their faces are just a picture after question 1. Some adapt better than others and yet all try to give answers like there’s a classroom of kids watching!!
"it took me places I wasn't ready to go ...and when I looked up, Paul was crying" 😂 this bit was so funny and so disturbing in equal measures 😢. It now lives rent free in my head.
These questions, her simple-minded way of asking, listening and responding and how cool "Philomena" stays, while the person she talks with gets more and more confused! It's hard to believe! It's philomenal! I love her art a lot! You ask, if I came a lot? I‘m not King Arthur. As far as I know...
I really don't know how these people keep a straight face. I wonder if they had to do lots of takes? I'm not sure I could keep a straight face, even if the subject of the question was part of my special interest!
crazy how Philomena has such well defined eyes like you wouldn't find a person who has eyes more than she does, whereas dr Ashe just has spots on her face
Professor Ashe censored the rude story in telling. The guy in the window after kissing was like "hang on! women don't have beards." giving the woman and her lover a big laugh at what he thought was a beard.
