I love that he never talked down to her. He always considered what she was saying and answered genuinely. Seems like a very sweet person. Also “I’d kill myself if I couldn’t have crisps “ was amazing.

He's Robert Peston, he works for ITV, it's highly unlikely he didn't know who she is. As do most others. They're just told to go with it.

I absolutely adore Philomena Cunk. I know, she's a comedian playing a character. That said, the way she's able to ask such ridiculous questions while keeping a straight face is pure gold. 😂👍

The thing is a lot of the time her questions are genuinely good. They’re phrased in a funny way, but the answers she ends up getting are legitimately good answers that I don’t think you could have otherwise gotten.

Robert Peston is si great in these. He brings so much enthusiasm that I'm always hanging on to his every word, like really invested in this guy's answers to completely ridiculous questions
