100.% i remember back when kwite (another youtuber) was being accused and people on twitter were dropping nonsense like "guilty until proven innocent" and "always believe victims" and less than a week later he dropped a video showing his face (something he never wanted to do until she doxxed it) and talking for like 2 or 3 hours completely proving it was a lie.

Honestly i was scrolling through and that's how i found out.. This broke my heart dude wilbur was a huge inspiration and it even re-lit a passion of wanting to play the guitar.. He was someone i found comfort in watching his content and this is truly so messed up. I really hope Shelby is doing better and anyone who reads this i really hope you can agree not only Shelby but so many others deserves so much care at this time
“I am light years behind him.” That made me so happy to hear her say that. I have never followed Shelby that closely but I have kept up with her from time to time for a good few years now and I have always appreciated her as a person and content creator. I support her 100%, it would be insane not to. I am incredibly happy and proud that she has found the ability to come forward with her story. DA is an incredibly hard thing to talk about. I personally have never experienced such a thing but I did have a friend who did and it has impacted her a great deal. I just want to say again that I’m very glad to see Shelby move past her relationship with Wilbur and reach a new place for herself in her life. She is a beautiful person who did not deserve to endure what she did in this relationship. DA should never be defined as something that is ‘violent enough’ because it sometimes does take a more subtle form. Well not "over" per se. Anyone with a big enough fanbase will have enough fanatics to keep afloat. But its definitly going to leave stains on the internet for a loooooong time, take him down a peg or two, and make it incredibly hard to grow to any true popularity without it hitting back again. Taking someones voice like that can cause issues, and further supports ai like that. Hate to be the bearer of bad news but don't always believe the "victim". I have been accused of SA twice, I spoke to the school counsellor and she said she was ask the "victim" about it on both occasions, they both said to her that I was lying and that they hadn't said anything of the sorts but it was well known around the school that they had been saying this, because of this I have lost almost all my friends and I am in the process of moving schools. Moral of the story is don't always believe the victim and don't make up stories.
Agreed. The way a just system is designed to work is on the basis that you are innocent until proven guilty and not the other way around. However you should take what a supposed victim claims seriously and do your due diligence to verify either there claims or to expose there potential lies
I'm going to avoid anything related to this topic from here on out because I myself am a victim of abuse, though it was not from a lover, but someone else and it makes me physically and emotionally uncomfortable to hear that a person I have looked up to and watched for my entire life has done something so horrible and cruel. I feel terrible that there are good people in the world that are stuck in these terrible circumstances. I am sorry for everyone of Wilbur's friends and family because someone they are close with and trust has hurt someone that they are also close with. To outlive one’s your child is already one of the cruelest twists of fate a person can endure… but to have to tell your child that they’re not gonna make it… to not only let go of your own hope, but to have to break your child’s hope, because you know they would want to say goodbye… I cannot imagine how much that hurts. In a horrible way, I’m glad Technodad was able to do what needed to be done. And with only 8 hours to spare. I’m glad he was able to get through to Techno and help him focus up despite him being on the brink, and in a distracting environment. I’m glad in a selfish way, because we were 8 hours away from never hearing from Techno again. But I’m also glad for Techno’s sake, because he was 8 hours away from missing his last chance to say his goodbyes to us. It would have been a weight on his conscience that I’m glad he was able to shed in his final moments. I just finished rewatching the potato war trilogy. It was bittersweet, but it still made me smile, even though my own life is in shambles. Thank you, Technoblade. For doing what seemed impossible, even now. And thank you, Technodad. I take comfort in the fact Phil at least has Kristen. It must be so difficult to lose one friend to cancer and have another revealed as someone who hurt people (and doesn't seem to regret it). But at least he has a partner through it all, I'm sure they'll get through it together.

As someone who is mentally Ill and has dealt with mentally Ill partners I can tell you this is not normal Mine and my partners house is an absolute mess, we have biting in our play I have DID autism ADHD anxiety, depression, and he has autism and depression we are there for each other, we stop when asked, and we don’t smile when we hurt each other. If I'm being honest, I think he deserves all of the backlash he's getting and then some. Abusers want to sweep it under the rug, and that's exactly what his "apology" tried to do. He "thought it was playful and consensual" even when she used her safe word and even after she shouted in pain. He completely refused to use her name and instead referred to her as "his ex," which completely ruins the point of an apology because it just goes to show he doesn't care enough to directly apologize. Well Wilbur isn’t in the wrong because it’s such a coincidence that Shubble came forward after Wilbur’s songs were about him being abused by his gf. Shubble was proven to have made excuses and everything like that as well. Shubble was also proven to have hurt Wilbur too.

i doubt thats gunna happen considering multiple other people have come out and said that he wilbur has done that to them and stuff. also all the evidence supports shelby. i understand if u really liked wilbur and watched his videos a ton but turning you back on ABUSE is just wrong.
definitely, but not to the extent that people think. SBI was mostly close for the cameras (and a very fun dynamic it was). Techno would probably have seen Wilbur as a close coworker or friend, not a brother
