I am amazed at the treasure you possess Soni ji. This is one of the most philanthropic gestures you are doing. Donating money can enrich lives ,but donating such musical masterpieces are not only enriching lives but also souls of millions. I would love to meet you some day and pay my respects to you . We all love Jagjit ji so much that you feel like an elder family member.
A very nice picture, it is as if we are watching the live performance of Jagjitji, so realistic.! ... I have heard this lovely ghazal before also, but a live performance has its own charm...The singer can show the full potential of his musical talent, with no binding of time and space, as Jagjitji has done in this performance,.. portraying this ghazal in all its perspectives... Sung with such warmth and feelings, enhancing these very thought provoking lyrics...Phir usi rahguzar par shayad, hum kabhi mil saken magar shayad....Jaan pehchaan se bhi kya hoga...phir bhi aye dost, gaur kar shayad... Very nice start with a beautiful and heart touching aalaap, showing his acumen as a classical singer... A very unique rendition of this ghazal, sung in his charismatic style and soulful voice, touching the core of our heart.. Muntazir jinke hum rahe unko, mil gaye aur hamsafar shayad ....Jo bhi bichhde hain, kab mile hain 'Faraz'...Phir bhi tu intezaar kar shayad.... The ending lines are heart rending ...Heer aakhdi jogiya jhooth bole, kaun vichchde yaar milaavanda, ae ho jeha na labba main bhaal thakki, jehda gaya nuu moD liaanvada ..... Omg.! What a wonderful performance.! His voice so profound and moving, pierces deep within to stir our soul .! I think the flutist in this picture is Ronu Majumdar, plays the flute marvelously...Jagjitji had such wonderful and very talented musicians..who gave him full support in his renditions, and performances all over the world...great team work.!...👍
