I have been listening to Phish for over 25 years, and they get better over time. I always said the mid 90's (95-96) were their best sounding years, but the last few years have blown me away. They are like a fine wine, they age perfectly over time. Just when you think you heard phish in their prime, they fool you once again. I will forever love Phish and they inspired me to be a better person. I started playing the piano again because of Page. Much happy vibes and future smiles

Except when he starts to spout his bullshit politics - he definitely misses several beats with his left wing nonsense….. Imagine being a millionaire rockstar and lecturing blue collar Americans about what and how they should be spending their lives on. Dudes the ultimate hypocrite.
@UCDhd9EQnV6GVJF-6JGMY8lA God your a moron. Go talk politics elsewhere. maybe you should find a new band. Your comments are straight trash like you and such bs.

Yep. Thought it was called Relax after that show. All I could picture after the official title came out was those 80’s shirts that said Frankie Says Relax lol
such a beautiful composition! everything about this song is righteous! when trey likes how he did a tune, he then goes into 15 minute jamn.......song fails he just ends it pretty cruelly. we can't always get what we want, especially w/ these guyz, but, once in a while, NOT every show, they pull out the epic rendition of the tried and true. look how much all four love this song. this song defines phish SUCCESS in my mind.....so sublime! fukn love this so much! may my mak'r.....continue to bless this band, and the phans! See ya at the show, for as long as I can. Just look for gray hair upfront dancing w/ next to your hottie.....that will be me! boy howdy! long may they reign SUPREME in our/their REALM! I WAS ON JUNTA TUR MOFOS!!!!! so fuk your tarp, and get the hell out of my way......NOOBS!
Not a fan of woo, but this song is incredible. Never seen it in 42 shows till this one. Moma Dance and carini take the cake for jams of the night though. The show had incredible moments throughout though. Love this band
Around 15:50, Trey starts playing bass while Mike starts play lead, I think!?! Via MIDI? Sliped right past my mind at the time. Thank you for the memory readjustment RU-vid.
Sometimes I don't think people know how good Phish is. Sure they're songs aren't played on the radio songs too Long yeti love them along with reggae and Jerry Garcia band tee rastafari Tucson Arizona Sonoran desert 🏜️🌵☮️🌞🐟 yes I keep on keeping on Africa we are all African

This show was absolutely incredible. Everything I could want from the boys was delivered. Amazing songs, jams in all the right places and an amazing and unique encore!
been seeing them since ‘93 and this night was the best time ive ever had with them. by the end of that carini i was growling like a tiger and making claw shapes with my hands - so filled with power….and joy. joyous primal cosmic power.
Had the same thought about the spot where it took off, and wondered if it was planned, or if it was spontaneous, since they are so locked in with each other, lately. Maybe it’s true, that most events aren’t planned.
Yeah when this song came out at first people thought it was called called Roggae, I've got a tape labeled like that. Then it was called Relax. I'd still just called it Relax
Its called the “and now im going to melt your face and show you what real boundless joy feels like” pedal. He had it custom made. Only one in existence
@@ballinj1 Chill out. Woos ruin pretty much all re-listen value aside from Tahoe Tweezer. Was bummed when Trey forced it at BGCA the following weekend. Tahoe it was organic. Now, just a stupid gimmick.
@@No24us it was funny af in Tahoe though. Ive noticed ppl that were at Tahoe are the only ones that dont become unhinged by woos. Really took on a life of their own - which to me is even more funny.
Why hasn't anyone pointed out that the guy who jumped to his death WASN'T WEARING A MASK?!?! WAS HE VACCINATED AS WELL? Jumping to your death is one thing, but not wearing a mask is another level of selfishness and recklessness!
I agree..........that's the world we live in today....nobody gives a s***........all anyone cares about is what tired old song the band is going to play next.............maybe the guy who jumped wanted to stop pretending that all is well in the world.........R.I.P.
@@jaybeemhardscrote7466 What's garbage is the disgusting needles and masks you push because you're a liar who believes second grade level propaganda ("alone together" and amazon employees plastered in masks in march 2020=start of the fakery and propaganda campaign. They also used Donald Trump to push the fakery). You have no decency if you push injecting children with needles of substances which ingredients aren't public. YOU have some decency you little punk.
their music just doesn't have that punch and energy that it used to................it comes with age I guess.......this is not phish 2.0 or 3.0, this is like phish 14.0. 🎣🎣🎣🎣🎣🤧
There’s an aged mastery setting in for them. They have become proficient in finesse and the use of silence in their melodic architecture to create a much, much more vast and free musical landscape in which to roam and explore. Have you seen them live this fall 2021 tour yet? There is no shortage of pinch and energy that’s for sure. Seriously powerful shredding. But also lots of subtlety. The more in your face punch and energy your referring to is beautifully balanced by slower, gentler, more emotive ballads and improvisation. They travel a truly awesome bandwidth of diverse textures and moods at the turn of a dime. I started seeing them in ‘94 and this first night show in SF was by several magnitudes the best phish show I’ve been to. I’ll say it again…they have just this year stepped into the band they were destined to become. The peak of their career and zenith of their powers is still ahead. Healthy, creative , focused and seasoned over 30 years of playing with each other, their best is still to come
@@novakaya Hi, thanks for sharing your opinion with me...... because you started seeing them in the mid 90's, you most certainly have the right to say so.......alot of people online talk about how the band is better than ever BUT NEVER saw them in the 90's when they were young, hungry and playing at their peak night in and night out..........they were a much different band back then......that is the phish I love and am stuck on.....I just can't vibe with the way they play and sound these days......the last time I saw them was during the New Years run in NY 2 years ago............it was a good show but not nearly as good as those shows I saw during the 90's at the Philly Spectrum......Peace out!!!!!
