I did some simple research the other day. At about 11 000 years ago, the ice withdrew in Scandinavia where I live. Then humans immigrated, following the wild game into the land. At no more than 4000 years ago, Scandinavians learned how to grow crops. So for at least 7 000 years, my ancestors survived without a single carbohydrate, apart from some tiny fruits and berries for a limited time in the late summer. How then, can the vegoons claim that carbs are our bodies' "preferred" fuel? It's not even ridiculous, it's simply a rotten lie!

I studied it for 6 months before I took the plunge. There is just too much evidence that people’s health improve on carnivore. My partner had a chronic 5 yr rash that would not go away. It disappeared in 2 WEEKS f carnivore, came back when he fell off the wagon. It’s now been 7months and the rash is long gone and we both feel so much healthier. Sugar cravings left 2 days in. Skin is so soft and healthy. Crazy what a difference it made. Best wishes on your journey, do it your way.

This was very enlightening! My dose of levothyroxine has steadily been reduced since becoming a carnivore. I also hope to come off my blood pressure meds. I let my cardiologist talk me into taking statins after resisting them for a long time. I took them for 2 weeks but stopped. I became so weak that I couldn't walk from my car into a store! It was horrible. Once again, Lee, you are the best. Please take a moment to think of my neighbors in the NC mountains. Total devastation.

Well, I'm just so pleased to have found two really sensible and articulate individuals this side of the pond. Nobody wants to be considered an odd fish, or conspiracy theorist. However that is exactly what happens when we challenging the mainstream doctrines of health and nutrition. If a lie is repeated often enough - five a day, heart healthy grains, to name but a few - an advertising jingle or tag line somehow becomes a scientifically proven, indisputable fact. I've been low carb for almost eight years. Within months I went from 100kg down to 75. And that was by eliminating bread, potatoes, rice and pasta. Over the years I've gradually cut other categories out, but have not, as yet, gone carnivore. I have to say, I'm on the cusp of giving it a go. Very inspiring and informative interview.

I now know that i, through eating lots of rice and pasta for years, developed insulin resistance. That has gone now i reckon as i have lost over the stone. Another benefit of eating this way is the quality and tone of my body. 30 years ago i went to the gym a lot and got pretty big. In the last year, my muscle tone has returned to what it was back when i was 20. I developed sleep apnea about ten years ago, which is caused by a softening of the tissue around your airways. That has gone. I have a curvature off three spine from spending tio long in a car with a bad driving seat about 25 years ago. That has improved greatly as the muscles around my spine have improved. My brain also works a lot better again. I had noticed a slowing of my thinking a few years ago and thought it was just ageing. But now i think as clearly and as fast as i always haver done.
@john2914
@john2914 День назад
you didnt get spine curve, it was in you when you were born. Nothing to do with a car or driving in any way. People who have sleep apnea are people who are just way to fat and obese. It is not a natural thing, and what actually happens to your airways is they get severely compressed by all the fat in your body. I am 57 years old. I am 155 pounds, and I feel that I am fat. I cant imagine being crazy obese or why or how a person would get that way. Seeing so many fat people everywhere I go just truly makes me sick, and I wish to avoid them and not have any connection to them. I work at Amazon with many people, and all the women there ae huge and I cant stand even being near them. People are quite discusting for certain.
@jamesprice7775
@jamesprice7775 День назад
@@john2914 I was not born with this spinal curve. A sideways curve is a physical defect. My curve is due to compression whilst my spine was unsupported by the car seat. It was an old and very basic car. I've never been obese, as I've always had a good muscularity underneath, but never been able to shed the 4 stone ISH of fat on top, whilst eating carbs. Since cutting out almost all carbs, I have. Still got a bit more to lose, but things are so much better now.

Hey Lee. I just today found out that a great actor, Lance Reddick, passed away last year at age 60 from heart disease. He was very fit and tried to have a healthy diet, enough so that his family and attorney disputed the coroner's findings of passing by heart disease. I can't verify if he was plant-based but he definitely had some odd (but the mainstream would consider exceptionally healthy) eating habits like daily consumption of spirulina, almond milk, flax seed oil, whey protein, chlorella and fruit smoothies according to his own Facebook postings. I think many of us in the carnivore community would agree that his diet could have contributed to his early passing. He certainly didn't die of natural causes at age 60 as his spokesperson, family and attorney would have us believe. Perhaps someone such as yourself might want to make a video about it as we need more warnings that plants aren't good for us.

His lawyer’s statement: I have represented Lance Reddick for many years and continue to represent his wife Stephanie. The coroner statement on the death certificate is not a result of an autopsy. No autopsy was performed on Lance. To my knowledge, no medical examination of Lance during his lifetime ever indicated such conditions," read the statement. "Lance was the most physically fit person I've ever known," Hornstein continued. "He exercised daily at his home gym, including extensive cardio work, and the availability of gym facilities was a contractual requirement for his work away from home. He ate as if a dietician was monitoring his every meal. The information appearing on the death certificate is wholly inconsistent with his lifestyle."

Thank you so much, Lee and Coach Stephen. That was excellent guys...I learned a lot. I'm so proud of my Carnivore numbers after 11 months of Carnivore (day 460 now)... HDL 84 TRIGS 54 ratio .64! LDL 117. AND, this is my medical funny: I've reached THERMEOSTASIS 😊 where your body temp matches your body weight. I won't eat veggies (never liked them), fruit, starches, grains, seeds, or any oils ever again. My kidney specialist, good friend gave me a $80 basket of candy, brownies, cookies and chocolates for Christmas. I thanked him for the thought, but giving me diabetes in a basket? and told him HE CAN'T GIVE GIFTS LIKE THIS... HE'S SUPPOSED TO KNOW BETTER! He told me about my being in the 5% of America that could eat that way and that my system would become overly acidic and it would adversely affect my bones! This is the healthcare system of today. He was top of his class. And truly believes he's in the right. 🤦🏼‍♀️ Anyway, thx, again, you two ❣️❣️

@kentcarnivore I don't know about smart as much as he's soaked up all their information. He sincerely thinks I am hurting my body by being on carnivore and that Gemini are an anomaly in America, and that he tells his patients to eat healthy, and I told him they don't know what that is because they go to your awful ADA website and all it tells them to do is eat more sugar which is the absolute worst thing to do ! Then I sent him just a couple of RU-vid links of Dr. Berry and another doctor, so it's real technical information that he could learn from, and I never heard a word back from him. He walked me down the aisle in lieu of my father, who could not be there, so he's a really good friend and should know better, but I think when you say indoctrinated, they are massively indoctrinated...which is why I've had trouble with doctors for a very very long time. 💥LEE... check out my "Malpractice... you make the call" video. It's pretty funny, but it also tells the story of my life with doctors. Jim did a really good job editing it, too.

What bothers me most about all this testing is that my medical insurance in the US now depends on these numbers. To meet them, I have to stay unhealthy instead of the carnivore I prefer. Because my red blood cells live longer, they're constantly on me about "being prediabetic" and panicking over all the other stats, which means I'm forced to pay higher premiums. I've had to start cheating and donte whole blood in the days before getting my annual mandatory A1C test just to get them off my back. Now they won't take "diabetic blood" so I'm back to higher premiums again. It's the frustrating that medicine and medical insurance is so far behind!

Hey Kent, love your videos. But I am so confused about the carnivore diet. I did try it for 3 months, but my A1c went up into diabetic range, I did not lose any weight. and my cholesterol went to 1,400! My B12 & iron levels went over the rough, But yes, I did feel good. My Dr. Is very concerned about this. I am not overweight. I am a senior lady almost 70. Exercise everyday. So I don’t know what to do. I have been basically low carb since I was 14 years old, because of my mother being a type 1 diabetic. So she always told me not to eat sugar or starchy foods. So when I heard about the Dr. Akins diet at the tender age of 14 I followed it because I didn’t want to get fat or diabetic, I remember even being anorexic in high school buy not eating at all because I was afraid to be fat. Never had a weight problem. But after breast cancer at the age of 57, that treatment made me gain almost 30 pounds which took me 10 years to come off. So trying to stay healthy which led me to carnivore. But I think I might have to go back to some carbs just for the blood test just to shut my Dr up. Then avoid Drs. from now on, my life on my terms and ignore the BS. I will never take a statin in any way shape or form. I really don’t think Drs know what they are talking about. I have 4 nodules on my thyroid I go to an endocrinologist to get them checked every year, but not once did she ever ask me what I eat, or if I get enough iodine. I was eating a shitload of broccoli everyday cause I was told it is a good prevention of breast cancer, I didn’t know it caused thyroid noduals, plus I didn’t get enough iodine in my diet. She doesn’t even want me to get a full thyroid panel. my regular Dr. she only wants me to take a statin. But I do want to get a genetic test to see if I have a blood clotting factor. Here in Canada you have to do the research and advocate for yourself. Finding a functional medical Dr. costs a fortune and I don’t have that kind of funds. I believe I got breast cancer because my hormones were off and when I went to my Dr. for help she couldn’t help me with hormones, so I did nothing and ended up with breast cancer, hormone triple positive. Crazy I thought I was being healthy, being low carb, exercising, etc. but, no I was wrong. I was dying. Nowadays women can get bio identical hormones which will help balance their hormones, which I think could help them avoid cancer and also being metabolically healthy by low carb or carnivore & getting enough iodine, minerals etc. our soil unfortunately doesn’t have these important nutrients, instead we get pesticides & fluoride, polluted water, air, plastics all affect our delicate endocrine system. Therefore, we get cancer. Plus many other diseases.

Hi Cindy, it makes me wonder what you ate on a carnivore diet. High blood sugar may be a sign of a high protein diet. A correct version of a diet is high fat moderate protein. That means basically 2g of fat per 1g of protein. For example 400g of beef chuck + 150g of beef suet achieves that balance. An example of a carnivore meal with a correct balance of fat and protein is beef tongue. Good sources of fat are suet, bone marrow, brain. Your blood sugar should stabilize quickly, you can test it using Keto Mojo every day. If you want to conduct more research into solving various problems I would recommend Nutrition with Judy (Judy Cho) and research of Zsofia Clemens (X). There's a lot of data available for free.

@kentcarnivore
@kentcarnivore 2 дня назад
I personally believe that this is the appropriate diet for all humans at all times. That's just my belief. I'd always recommend transitioning very slowly. Sometimes it's good to keep little things in for a while. A tea or something with oxalate issues, for example. Same with fat and the absence of a gallbladder. Take it easy with the fat at first. That's what I would do.

I’m 10 months in on carnivore and I don’t have any cheat days, eggs, bacon, ground beef, salmon, ribeyes, grass fed butter and whole fat grass fed milk. My triglycerides went from 80 to 170, HDL stays steady at 68, what could have caused this ? I fasted properly as I know the routine.

Drinking coffee? It can cause high trigs. Is this only one test or is there a clear path over time of several tests? If one test, I'd retest in another 3-6 months before I worried. Other causes can be stress, recent sickness or infection, and things like mold. Do a consultation with Coach Stephen with your bloods, that's his specialty!

Hi Kent your thoughts on linoleic acid found in olive oil ?
@kentcarnivore
@kentcarnivore 2 дня назад
It's not something that I'd consume myself. Any oil in a bottle is a "no" in my opinion. The moment oil hits the pan, the molecules oxidise. Another thing is that many olive oils are cut with industrial seed oils. I always use tallow.
@markosmerkouris9111
@markosmerkouris9111 2 дня назад
Heat up the olive oil above 65°C and you'll get some amounts of trans fat.Plant sterols are contra indicated and can mess up the synthesis of your cholesterol, potentially lowering it which isn't good.Go check dr Paul Mason on Zero Carb under channel on RU-vid

@kentcarnivore
@kentcarnivore День назад
Yes. Transition very slowly into a carnivore diet. I'd get rid of anything processed, seed oils, and whole grains overnight. Once adapted to a standard carnivore diet, gravitate towards a PKD style when you're ready. It's essentially a lion diet, but visually, one part fat, 2 parts protein, one of the proteins portions consisting of organ meats. This is the best way to seal your gut. I'd recommend looking into "paleomedicina" and Zsophia Clemens' work, in hungry!
