Amazing tutorial, thanks for the vid! Quick theory question (from a drummer learing guitar for the first time): the G chord at 1:08, it sounds like a standard B flat major chord. Why is it called a G chord?
The notes are from low to high are GBDGDG. A three-fingered G doesn't have the extra D on the 2nd string so it sounds just a little different, but it's still just the 1-3-5 of a G Major chord.
