I absolutely love Charmed and the first few seasons being my faves. Love this scene and I definitely did not cry when watching it, nope for sure there was an onion in there.
“Do you think that’s really mom’s voice?” Always saddened me how Phoebe only knew Patty through pictures and stories from her sisters growing up. Every time she gets to see Patty again via magic is a tearjerker for me.
For anyone who wants to know, that diner is real and it's called Fred 62 in Los Feliz Village here in Los Angeles. It's right in front of the Post Office. The exterior is slightly different but they still preserve the same interior decor and the food is really great. It's within driving distance of the original Halliwell Manor in case you want to make two stop on your Charmed tour when you're visiting the city :)
Kind of threw me for a loop when i found out that house is in Los Angeles and not San Francisco, but you think i would figure out if it was in San Francisco it would be on a steep sloped hill and close together , so whats the real address of that House in L.A. ?
@@seniorcajun 1329 Carroll Ave which is near Dodgers Stadium and Echo Park lake in Angelino Heights next to Victor Heights (wonder if their dad's name was at all inspired by the community name idk). But, that entire neighborhood has those Victorian style houses and full of other houses you may recognize from tv or musical videos. Remember Dan Gordon, Piper's S2 fling? Just like in the series, obviously, his house is the one next door! Remember his daughter, Jenny Gordon (Karis Paige Bryant), from the opening credits? There she's sitting on the stairs of that exact house, 1337 Carroll Avenue! Most of the houses on that street have much more kept up and gorgeous houses than the Charmed/Halliwell manor has been kept up but for a die hard fan it's still a great pit stop if you're in the area. But also, Michael Jackson's "Thriller" music video house? That's 1345 Carroll Avenue, the one on the left next to the other two. So there's a lot both for Charmed fans but also MJ fans! Just be considerate of where you park and obviously don't go up the stairs aka common decency. But when I went by the house years and years ago, I definitely took a selfie in front of the house from the sidewalk, then carried on my way as to not disrupt homeowners or neighbors there. It was a bit overgrown so not sure if anyone is currently living there but if you do stop by let me know how it is looking these days!
@@TheAmericanIdol thanks for all the really cool info , are you from L.A. ? I'm living in Salt Lake City , but before 2015 was from Louisiana , I'm a big fan of Charmed and have Scottish ancestry and the symbol on the book of shadows is part Scottish ( the triquetra ) one meaning of about 5 meanings is the Father. The son. And the holy spirit , a little secret, that they are good witches
@seniorcajun It would also be cold and foggy all the time, and the girls would freeze in those outfits. Also, more than one random gay waiter at the restaurant. Lol
The actresses (even the kids!) were so good and had great chemistry too, particularly Grams and Patty, considering it's their first time in a scene together with the sisters
I liked this episode of charmed first time you got to see granms & Patty together also with the charmed ones it had so much action in it I really enjoyed it one of my favorite episodes
I love when prue piper & phoebe cast a spell to sends them back in time to 1975 & the sisters learned that grams bound their powers when they were kids to protect them the warlock Nicolas & I'm glad that phoebe got the chance to see her mother 4 the first time cuz phoebe was only 3 years old when patty died in 1978 & it was really for prue piper & phoebe to say goodbye to their mother before they return to their time & I would feel the exact same way if I had to say goodbye to my mom when she was alive & it's a good thing that phoebe took a picture of her mom with little prue & little piper cause now phoebe has a picture of patty being pregnant with her & little prue & little piper standing by their mother
Grams definitely had the strongest form of telekinesis that we saw on this show I wish we had got to see her use it more and see how she protected them from demons/warlocks while they were growing up
holy crap, i was thinking about what the sister have in common with the winchester brother aside from saving innocent, being help by both angel and demon, kill wendigo the same way, protecting innocent, have one half sibling, dealing with trickster, timeloop, premonition, one of the sibling once fell to the darkside, and now this! they both went to the past to meet their mother who worked as a waitress.
Dont forget a neglectful father in their childhood, losing their mother when they were just little, losing a sibling and having their death affect them, taking care of a powerful child
@@brierichardson8462 the father is kinda the opposite and similar at the same time, they both neglectful but still care about them. However, Victor want the girls to be free from magic while John want Sam and Dean to be a hunter.
Plus to protect Paige she was given to nuns who found her good adoptive parents , considering Paige is half whitelighter that really makes her even more on the good side , of and the symbol on the book of shadows ( the triquetra ) one of its 3 or 5 meanings is God the father and the son ( Jesus ) and the holy Spirit , it's a secretly alludes to the fact that they're good witches , the triquetra is a Scottish symbol and the name Hallowell as in Hallowed ( good or sacred )
