I like that Penny's interrogation becomes a little character moment for the sisters. Prue, head of the family, answers where she was born. Phoebe, most eager of the sisters about the craft, answers about their charmed heritage. And Piper, caring, motherly, and with a love for cooking, answers the question about the cobbler. It's a really cute detail!
I liked that. It's like she had decided to believe them but continued to ask questions for fun ... And personal gain. She realised they were her grandchildren whom she loved and broke the ice after the necessary interrogation
Finally grams is convinced they're not evil and they are her granddaughters and Phoebe got to meet her mom , I remembered when their mom play on General Hospital ( the soap opera as Anna De Vain ) she's always been a great actress especially on the cool stuff like these scenes
I love how patty tells her daughters that when Nicolas tried to kill her & she had to give him immunity to the sisters powers in exchange for her daughters lives & when grams kept asking prue piper & phoebe questions that only her real granddaughters would know & grams finds out that when she died the sisters powers were unbound & piper told leo that grams bound their powers to give her granddaughters a normal childhood & i absolutely agree with piper children do need feel that they are safe & loved wherever they are
Not to rag on the reboot (which I tried very much to appreciate on its own terms), but the chemistry on the OG cast was amazing. Even the guest star family members fit right in!
Even the later casts like Drew Fuller (Chris) and Wes Ramsey (Wyatt) developed an amazing chemistry not only with Holly, Rose, and Alyssa but also with Finola (Patty) and Jennifer (Grams). It felt like they knew one another for a long time which is something I couldn't feel with the reboot which feels forced and unnatural at times.
@@KyngofJewel I think they got stuck on trying to make the reboot sisters these superhero witches instead of who they are as people and as a family, which is pretty much opposite to the OG (at least in the first few seasons)
Now 5 witches , 3 of which are charmed , lets kick some evil butt , Phoebe got to meet her mom and I've always likeed their mom , she was a great actress when she played Anna De Vain on General Hospital ( the soap Opera ) she's got a great smile
I wish Paige meet Prue when she went to the past ,she could have gone to time of season 1 to 3 I mean she saw how Phoebe looked back then and some of their memories but didn't meet Prue
@@angelaholmes8888 Me too In her interview she said they offered her to return in season 8 finale episode which she refused She is also sorry she left the show tho
god I love this show the original charmed every episodes are amazing and have sad moments happy endings but I hated it when all of the people are died like Chris Cole turner Prue drake de mon Andy Trudeau and Daryl get knocked out by a demon Christy died also of course grams died Prue’s mom died victor just walked away
Grams was cute playing the shrewish old biddy in the beginning but I lost all respect for her by the end of the show. She initially refused to bless Wyatt just cuz of the genitals he was born with, she casts self-serving unethical spells on her own granddaughters, and she had the nerve to accuse Leo to his face of believing Wyatt deserves to die. Exorcise the witch
If the original 3 would have gone for 7 seasons this shows popularity would have been ridiculous , but at least we got 3 seasons with the original 3 👍🍿.
