You have dry heat though. I visited in July when it was 110. It was definently hot, but no humidity. Up north, 90 degrees with humidity will drown you in sweat and tears before you make it to the driveway. Even in shade.
Shit dawg I'm from South Texas, South Padre Island to be specific. Been to Arizona and that heat was nothin compared to our heat. Down here this is a subtropical region with like 90% humidity. That dry heat ain't nothin. Workin out in the sun down here, you'll go through a gallon of water on the daily.
@@koldraiynedownskayle5744 Exactly man. All Arizonians think they live in like the hottest place on earth. I've been trying to put em on game. I've lived in Phoenix for a year in a half now. It will be 116 later today. Yes it'll be hot, but very bearable. I remember one summer in Georgia where im from it was 102 degrees. But the heat index had rose to over 120 degrees. They forced us inside from football practice, due to two players having already died that summer. I will take 115 in Arizona, over 95 in the South any day.
Phoenix is by far one of the most beautiful cities in the united states hands down. A lot of people dont want to come here because of the "heat" so they never visit but the scenery is unmatched. I always say if Arizona had had the Ocean, it would blow California out the water in terms of beauty. I love both states though, so I'm glad they are right next to each other. A win/win
Ebony M. Moody if you can stand the heat during summer and feel like you’re going to die in your 150 Fahrenheit car the more power to you. If anyone wants to visit Phoenix they should come during the fall or winter months. That’s when the temperature is perfect.

Phoenix is a heavily minority-occupied city. It's nothing but love when you touch down. I'm planning a third trip this year and hope to relocate there one day.
My family group of 14 took a vacation there 2 years ago and it was amazing. Stayed at Bear Lake. Some of the bluest water we've ever seen. It was winter time. Visited may of the surrounding states. Highly recommend.

I moved to Phoenix 8 months ago. The red, rustic heels are beautiful. For those of you who do move here, be ready for the extreme dry heat - like triple digits 5 months out of the year (100-115 degrees). Winter is the best though - like San Diego weather. I was very impressed with the friendly culture that they have down here. For my birthday, my girl took me to this restaurant called "A point of view" (The one you're showing in your video right now). I live 15 minutes away from it. It's by far - one of the best restaurants I've ever dined in. Great food and one heck of a view. So welcome brother Jabril to PHX!
Squeeze this year we had more 110+ degree temps than normal, also one of driest monsoons I ever remember. Usually we get more storms around this time. In the winter PHX gets colder than SD at night but daytime temps are similar.

If you like Hiking hike up Piestewa Peak mountain. It’s one of my favorite hikes but I’ll warn you that it can get challenging especially in the summer but if u are a hiker then you would be fine. The views of the city and the surrounding mountains are worth it. If you want something easier you can hike North Mountain instead but the views are better from Piestewa. Camelback Mountain has the best views IMO but it’s very challenging for many people because you literally have to climb up rocks. The mountains are all located near each other and the Hilton Hotel he stayed at is actually part of the mountain preserve.

Yes, AZ does recognized MLK day. But as a individual i will always honor MLK day. AZ isn’t for everyone. But I would rather deal with four months of summer and enjoy 8 months of perfect weather the rest of the year.
Fantastic video! Oftentimes, people come here seeking what they left.... If so, don’t visit. Phoenix is about the land, people and experiences you create. This video offers a small glimpse of what’s possible. It’s a place that allows you to create what you want and be part of the process. When you hear negative remarks from people, understand these folks may not be suited to the desert lifestyle. Living in the desert is definitely a mindset!
like the California people that complaint about everything. Phoenix or AZ is not the same as where you come from. People complaint because instead of embracing they don't adapt to the new lifestyle and end up being not happy.

@@brandonlamitina7588 The traffic is really bad only during certain times. However, overall, the average isn't much worse than much smaller metro areas such as Cincinnati. The freeway system here is designed better than most metro areas of the country.
Its beautiful here and people really are friendly. Its roasting out now but no humidity. No traffic. I'm always exploring. You can't be overweight here. Too much to do. Lol. This is my favorite state out of 5.🏜

Dude you ain’t lying , I may not have traveled like you but I’ve been really researching a lot of states and the United States has so much to offer that can easily missed if you overlook it, the country is so big with so much to do.
@@BigTumbleWumbles umm I'm not rich at all and this place is amazing. Golfing, food, events, hiking, there's 4 lakes within an hour drive, all 4 major sports, only a short drive from the ocean, a short drive from the beach, and the weather is perfect

Come back during the winter and visit Christopher Creek, Prescott and Flagstaff. There’s also Jerome which is an old miners town. We love 💕 Brett! He’s part of the Epilepsy Foundation of Arizona which we are a big part of because my daughter is Epileptic. He’s more than just an amazing man he’s a role model.
