Roddy is loved in Memphis and will be missed. he's a bull around the basket and stays healthy. he needs to improve his 3pt shots but otherwise will fit better in PHX than MEM. enjoy him he will impress
Nah fam we in Memphis are so glad that Roddy is gone. He has a big body and is sneaky athletic. Roddy, but has so much work to do to be a + NBA player. Hopefully he is more effective in Phoenix.
@@tbountybay3080 We drafted Yuta. We are aware of his capabilities. Can knock down an open jumper, and a big body. Can’t really defend nor make plays. Decent end of the bench player.
Brandon, You look younger than anyone on the Suns roster! However, based on your comments I am convinced you have a mole in the organization. I also like your unvarnished (cynic?) assessment of management moves. Your range of knowledge about NBA-wide availability saves me a lot of time. You didn't mention Azubuike or Biyombo in your center talk. Where do they fit in potentially? Thanks
Also someone get this man a raise, great coverage all season, super thorough and balanced and always brings up interesting points for debate and discussion
Maybe I'm looking at another D Roddy on these videos. But his last 10 games he can get you 8 to 16 points, 4 to 8 rebounds and he's physical and athletic.
@@haydotzero3372 Yeah, wanted Gafford or Drummond too. I wonder what draft compensation did the Mavericks trade for the Wizards to say yes to that trade
That's exactly what I was thinking as well buddy I really believe that this year with Beal we can handle and take care of does Nuggets plus if you remember last year in playoffs we were the only team took couple games from them
If O’Neale comes in and plays on both ends the way we expect him to, we can definitely take care of the Clippers in 6 or 7. O’Neale is one of those guys that can come in and bother the other team’s best player. Same with Roddy.
Idk what kind of contract Bridges is expecting. I'm not giving him 20 plus per yr, particularly not in the earlier years of any contract where he's still under probation and has a murky legal sitation. No thx lol. Can see why he wants a chance at the bag but he also gave up the chance to make an impression playing for a contender. Are his numbers going to translate wherever he goes next after playing for a team that doesnt have winning on the agenda? Not someone I would be willing to make a pricey longterm commitment to.
What do you expect? Dude was a role player his whole career. He never makes any significant moves at least a second tier role player. He tends to go for D level role players
It's cause of the recency bias as well as all of the "names" they have 😅 I frankly don't fear any team but there are definitely teams that provide more difficult challenges and they are up there at the moment.
@@3EyedRaiderSame way I look at it. Not scared of the Clippers, but at the same time, I don't underestimate them either. They DID beat us twice already.
THIS IS WHY YOU DO NOT TRADE ALL OF YOUR 1ST ROUND PICKS FOR DURANT: DURANT IS GREAT PLAYER BUT 2 FIRST-ROUND PICKS PLUS CAM/BRIDGES SHOULD HAVE BEEN ENOUGH FOR DURANT. #NEW OWNER SYNDROME. WE SAW ALL THE GOOD TRADE DEADLINE PLAYERS GO ELSEWHERE BECAUSE THIS TEAM HAS NO 1ST ROUND DRAFT CAPITAL. WHEN THIS TEAM MAKES A 2ND ROUND EXIT FROM THE PLAYOFFS FANS ARE GOING TO START QUESTIONING THIS OWNER'S EXCESSIVE TRADING DECISIONS AND I'M SURE HE WILL BLAME JAMES JONES BUT ULTIMATELY THE OWNER SIGNS OFF THE TRADE DECISIONS. I THOUGHT LENGTHY KBD/METU WAS STARTING TO PLAY WELL. THEY WERE STARTING TO LEARN THE SYSTEM AND THEIR ROLES. NOW WE BRING IN 2 NEW PLAYERS WHO NEED TO PICK UP THE SYSTEM AND CHEMISTRY QUICKLY. THE PLAYOFFS WILL BE HERE BEFORE YOU KNOW IT. ROYCE BEST DEFENSIVE DAYS ARE BEHIND HIM....I'M NOT SURE WHY THEY NEED HIM OVER KBD/METU. I DON'T LIKE THIS TRADE MAINLY BECAUSE IT COST US SO MANY PLAYERS OFF THE BENCH WHO ARE BEGINNING TO BE FAMILIAR AND HAVE CHEMISTRY WITH THE SUNS TEAM. I MEAN DOES ROYCE AND RODDY HONESTLY MOVE THE NEEDLE MORE THAN KBD AND METU?? NO.......Additionally, GOODWINS DEFENSE WILL BE MISSED. YUTA REALLY IS HAVING A TOUGH YEAR SO I CAN SEE WHY HE IS ON THE TRADE BLOCK.
Brooklyn would not buy him out, he has another year on his contract. Besides even if he wanted a buyout he makes more than $12.4M, meaning teams over the 2nd apron like the Suns cannot sign him after a buyout
Drummond would be a hot ticket and other teams can offer him more than the Suns......LETS FACE IT: SUNS DONT HAVE MUCH TRADING POWER AND THEY ARE CONSTRUCTED AS A 2ND ROUND PLAYOFF EXIT TEAM.....FACTS
