This video is a trip. I'm only just discovering Phoenix. How did I miss this? I love the Italian TV show premise. Italian TV tends not to have wine and smoking, but it would have veline (beautiful young women either dancing or standing there inexplicably). The vending machine with Battiato and the OP Battisti is also a trip.

This is one of those albums that is always going to bring me back to a specific place and time. Couldn't have asked for a better summer soundtrack.

I bought this album at launch and made a trip to Italy in may 2018, it really was the soundtrack of the trip. So many memories.

Every Sunday evening my grandmother was used to make lasagne for all of us: parents, cousins and grandchildren of course. As soon as Gianni and Valentina appeared on the TV screen, we all ran to the sofa, leaving all the empty dishes on the table. We were so close, not only on the sofa but also as a family. It was amazing. I remember that episode with Phoenix. It looked like they were coming from the future, a future where everything was so cozy and familiar. Probably the best memories of my childhood. *** Thanks, guys, überlike for this video.

There was this girl that I was into and worked with over the summer in 2017 but things never happened. I wish I had made things more clear before it was too late. This album and "This Old Dog" by mac demarco were my favorites and Ill always remember those good times especially when I listen to Ti Amo :)
