Did anybody else notice that pretty much any time John got praise, he basically turned into a tomato? That was honestly both adorable and hilarious!! 💜
As much as I love NateWantsToBattle, Miles Edgeworth is not a role I could see him playing. Anyways, this Edgeworth is perfect and you should keep him because he's the best.
"With all die respect, Wright....may not be wrong" **Everyone laughing and causing commotion** Judge: **Secretly texting Franziska** "Come replace your idiot brother as prosecutor"
wannipower Name Miss Oldbag, could you please hold that Magatama by one finger? *holds by one finger* HELLO INTERNET AND WELCOME TO ANOTHER GAME THEORY!! *GASP*
6:48 That was exactly me! I watched this and a friend of mine warned me about potential character spoilers so I picked up the trilogy from the Eshop and played half way through the first game and then watched all three parts of this XD I'm currently on the first case of Trails and Tribulations and I love it so far (and yes I played Justice For All)
John! YOU ARE AMAZING! :D My favorite bit from the comments was "I'm being exiting" "I'm Being Exiting" Please PLEASE let john be in more videos He is AMAZING, I also LOVED his voice when he sang: Wright Is Wrong! welp he's dang amazing, and so are ALL of you! keep it up RE(Lol sorry about my grammar)It is my dream to be in RE aswell ;)
I used to have a crush on Miles... you did a great job to make me fall in love with him again John. And you are just too adorable with all the shyness and the hair 😊 hope for more musicals with you in them!
6:55 The musical was the last thing I watched before leaving on a mission trip. Didn't think much of it until I got back, and suddenly I just had to absorb every piece of Phoenix Wright material I could get my hands on as soon as I returned home and got my phone, for some reason. Now, a month later, I absolutely love Phoenix Wright, I've absorbed enough information to be a passable member of the community, I'm a member of the Ace Attorney Amino, and I have a cosplay lawyer's badge and prosecutor's badge set in the mail because I wanna cosplay Apollo. Still working on getting my hands on an inexpensive copy of one pf the games. I'm currently settling for playthroughs. So yeah. That was me.
THIS NEEDS TO BE A THING "Throwing items in the fire~ That's what I do all day, Throwing items in the fire~ This popping corn looks quite okay Look at this raccoon With his body aflame! Throwing items in the fire~" Well I tried XD
John was amazing as edgeworth. He really captured the essence of the character. Everyone else's acting and singing was phenomenal too. Also I would love an 8bit Nintendo style version soundtrack. Keep it up guys, and guyett( ms bird)
Okay but John is literally an amazing human who deserves all of the love and appreciation possible. If he can, could you put him in more videos? I would love to see another duet between him and AJ, your voices blend really well!
i'm gonna make a meme of edgeworth saying "i'm being exciting" and put in the foxy fighters thing instad of toy chica saying "you won't get tired of my voice will you"
They should do a reaction to the Phoenix Wright comments video reading comments and bring the guy who plays miles cause his reaction to the compliments are soo amazing
4:35 is my comment! Thank you guys for choosing my comment. John looked like he was blushing, that's adorable! I actually realized that he was sans after I wrote that. Love you guys, you are all amazing!
The musical actually did make me look at Phoenix Wright and I fell in love, so great job! Oh, and John is incredible too, you should totally have him in more musicals.
Is it just me or would it be awesome to see Mark play Damon Gant? I think he would have the voice to match him as well as the explosive clapping. xD Seriously, awesome musical guys! I rewatch the episodes and then the supercut came out, so I watch that regularly since all the songs are amazing and get stuck in my head. Can't wait to see what other musicals you have in mind! Maybe a Danganronpa? Eh? Eh? nudge nudge
Watching this musical actually DID get me into the Phoenix Wright games XD (I downloaded the app on my iPad at first, but now I have it on my 3DS.) I occasionally listened to the songs from the musical as I played, and, call me crazy, Phoenix Wright actually brought my dad and I together for once. I would play the game and he would help me make decisions. :)
Please make more Phoenix Wright musicals! I love this one and I even got it off of Itunes as well as downloaded it onto my MP3. Also please bring John back for more musicals as well, I think it would be great. Please keep up the great work RE. I can't wait to see what you make in the future and keep being amazing.
Awe, John is such a little goober! Don't be shy man, you did amazing as Miles! I can't wait to see more of ya! Also, it would be cool to see a Catherine musical, anyone on me with that one?
John is hands down my favorite out of the entire cast. However, kudos to you, Peter; crew members almost never receive any recognition, and from watching the behind the scenes footage, I could see that you were a real trooper during the production of this musical.
Yay! I finally found another Ace Attorney superfan! In all honesty, when I found out you were doing a Phoenix Wright musical and it would be multiple parts, I screamed. I would love it if you do another case!
I saw the comment about Franziska's accent so I decided to put my headcanon here: I believe that when Franziska learns something, she makes sure that her knowledge of it is perfect. And when she does something, it will be just as perfect. A von Karma must be perfect (which she certainly is; I love her) so she would go all out when learning another language. She'd work hard to learn both the words and the accent. She'd work so hard that there's not even a trace of the German accent she grew up with. However, she might not have grown up with it. Since Manfred was in America before, I'm guessing Franziska might've learned English and German at the same time. It'd be easier than teaching her one and then forcing her to learn the other, later. And she does speak English without a flaw. Some game characters who are not fluent in the language they're speaking often flub on words or speak bits and pieces of their native language along with the language the people of the country they're in speak. (for example, Bebe from Persona 3) So yeah, not that anyone asked, but there's my input on the matter!
You guys have to do more! Thanks to the musical I have become an addict to Pheonix Wright. And well done with the characters, however, my favourite was probably Edgeworth.
This video is so adorable it'll give you cavities! First, the way John reacts to all the (richly deserved) praise for how well he played Edgeworth is priceless. Then, the way Peter is playing with Sparrow's hair the whole video is just sweetness to the nth power!
Ms. Bird: "As a superfan of Phoenix Wright, I can honestly say that Spirit of Justice... is trash, mostly because I felt like they took too many shortcuts, and also, the names are dumb." Only one thing to say to a statement like that.... *_OBJECTION!_* Ms. Bird, you have yet to point out one such shortcut. Furthermore, I have, here, with me, a list of names of characters from the original trilogy that are equally as punny in nature: Winston Payne Frank Sahwit Will Powers Jack Hammer Redd White (President of Bluecorp) Lotta Hart Morgan Fey (Not sure if this counts, but it's very similar to Morgan Le Fay, so I'm counting it.) Matt Engarde Ronn and Debbie Delite There are probably some I have missed, but my point stands: dumb, punny names have always been a staple in the Ace Attorney franchise, and they always will be. And with that... _bows in a similar manner to Edgeworth_ I await a rebuttal.
*HOLD IT!* Errm, first of all, It's Desiree. Not Debbie. Secondly, as much as those names scoop low, nothing is ever going to be worse than Whett Buckett. Like, did they even give that one a second thought? Lastly, she did, in fact, name such a shortcut; She explained how she thought it was cheap how they used spirit channeling to channel the victim, considering they usually don't use channeling for anyone other than Mia. *Crosses arms and smirks like Apollo* Your turn.
*_OBJECTION!_* Er, okay, I'll admit, the list of names were what I remembered off the top of my head, hence my mistake. However, I would say that the act of naming the first witness in the entire series Mr. Saw It sits upon the throne, as even Phoenix himself acknowledges it, although you could also argue that saves it. As for the spirit channeling, as stated in the game, in the original trilogy, Maya was but a novice, and in addition, two of the most likely reasons she was so frequently able to channel Mia is because, 1) they shared a strong familial connection, being sisters, and 2) it's stated in the original trilogy that Mia was not without her own spiritual power. However, now that Maya is more experienced, she's much more able to channel those that she has no relation to, as seen by the fact later that, *_SPOILER ALERT,_* she channels Dhurke's spirit for about two to three days. _Bows again_ Well? Please tell me you have more ammunition, otherwise this could prove to be rather boring...
*_Objection!_* Most of the names from the original trilogy, such as Luke Atmey and Frank Sahwit, are clever and look somewhat like credible names. Some people don't even notice the pun in Luke Atmey until it's said out loud to them multiple times. Furthermore, most of the names from 6-2 are decently clever as well: Roger Retinz and the de Femme twins. Manov Mistree is pushing it a bit, but is acceptable. Mr. Reus and case 4 can be excused, as the names provided for the witnesses and victims are actually their stage names. And even Bucky is a passable name - Bucky Barnes, anyone? About the most stupid name from the pre-Dual Destinies games is probably Deid Mann, but otherwise they're pretty clever. In contrast, Khurainese names appear to be trying to make the pun names dumb and obvious. I mean, Pees'lubn Andistan'dhin? I can't help but see it as "piss, lube and understanding". For example, Ahlbi Ur'gaid is incredibly obvious, especially when it's said by the police officer arresting him - not even an attempt at an accent or even anything to hide the pun, he literally says "I'll be your guide, you're under arrest for treason!". When Phoenix calls Sahwit "Mr. Did It" back in 1-1, it called out the naming conventions, but it was also a _clever_ mockery of his name. Even if Khura'in is a different culture, that's no reason for lazy naming. See Ka-Shi Nou, for example. Even in the AAI2 fan translation some of the names were punny but credible. Di-Jun Huang and Horace Knightley sound like real names compared to, say, Paht Rohl and the Inmees. Even Ka-Shi Nou sounds alright in comparison. About the only Khurainese names that aren't stupid puns are the Sahdmadhis and the royal family (minus Inga). _Finger tap on temple._ Your move.
ZaKattacker well it is her opinion. Not ever fan of the series is going like ever single about Phoenix Wright and that's fine . I would say play the game for yourself find out if you like for yourself. Honestly I liked SOJ more than DD mostly cause I liked the music more and got more out of the second time play though.
6:49 That's what the musical did for me! During one of the RE award nominations, I voted for FNAF Web of Lies, but then I looked at the comments and a lot of people were talking about how Turnabout Encounters won hands down. So I went to check it out and I have no regrets! Now I'm currently a Ace Attorney fan, and it's a series I really enjoy (I've watched the gameplay, the anime, the live action, the plays, etc), and I'm really glad RE introduced me to this!
I would love to see more of John, or really just this entire group, in more things. I loved all of their voices and acting! Also, Miss Bird knows WTNV, that is so cool!
Btw when Edgeworth says " Maya was arrested near the scene" detective dickgum shoe says "that's how it happened " in text BUT when u hear what he says it's says " that's not how it happened " so idk who made the text but it's definitely not what he said
OMG guys thank you so much for this musical!!! I watched the supercut when it came out just for something to do, but it sent me fully down the Phoenix Wright rabbit hole and I am SUCH a giant fan now!!!!!
Also, 21:05 I just realized, If Franziska was there... when Maya said "I'm gonna channel your spirit" Franziska would have done something about it right? She looked up about the ritual before the 2nd case in Justice for All.
I LOVED this musical. I technically played an Ace Attorney game but not a Phoenix Wright one. I only played the Miles Edgeworth one. I would love another mini-musical where Edgeworth was the main character and you included Kay Faraday because the way she gets along with Gumshoe and Edgeworth is so adorable!
i watched the musical for the first time like 3 years ago and now i'm rewatching all the videos for it bc that musical got me into ace attorney ! it's still just as good
+Random Encounters you should see the nightcores of your songs. They sound amazing. You guys have motivated people to make them. Because your voice actors (Especially Edgeworth sorry I'm an Edgeworth fan over Wright) sound amazing.
Just being honest, I'd love to see a Chiptune album! Of as many songs you guys made as possible-- we could use them in the Game for you guys. Especially Needlemouse, Singachu, and FNAF, if possible...
honestly, part way through SoJ i was the same way, i thought it was trash, but the last case makes up for it so much also, even if it werent for the last case, PLvPW:AA would've still been worse imo
I love seeing your comment videos, it's really awesome! Anyway, I heard you say that Kingdom Hearts got second in that poll 5 (bajillion) years ago - ARE you planning on making a Kingdom Hearts musical at any point?
I’m going to get the Phoenix Wright trilogy on the switch. I’ve been thinking of getting it for a while and even got it on my watch list but your musical has made me definitely want to get it.
I wouldn't have figured out about Phoenix Wright if it weren't for you guys, and since I noticed Phoenix Wright, I want to become a lawyer when I grow up. I just want to say thank you guys for showing me this. You guys will forever be my favorite youtuber.
