my sister gifted me one of these for my birthday this past week and its super cute as i looove making my own little stickers! loved this video explaining how to use it and the things you can do with it :)
I have seen these printers everywhere!! I think it is a sign… right?? Lol 😂😂 I can say that this would have been really helpful for my scrapbook theme a while back but I love how yours turned out!! 🌻🌻
I’ve had a phomemo thermal printer for over a year but have not really used it much. You gave me a bunch of great ideas to set up my next month with it. Especially the mini calendars.Thank you!! 🌸🌹🌷🌻
@@ErinSmiththank you so much. May I ask if when you first charged your phomemo m02 pro, the slow flashing white light continued throughout the whole charge period? I have purchased two units. and with both (using two separate leads), the light initially flashes for 5 minutes or so, and then it goes out completely - it seems the charging stops 🥺 I can’t get either to work as when I disconnect them they just fast-flash meaning ‘low battery’ - they don’t seem to be charging. Would appreciate any reply of your experience here in case I’m missing something, thank you so much 🙏🏼
Mine came with a test paper roll inside (which I think is not a full roll) and a box with 3 rolls of 3.5 metres of paper. I used it for some test prints when I first got it, for my April bullet journal setup AND this video... and I'm still using the test roll! It depends on how big your designs are though, I have kept all my printing elements pretty small so far.
I prefer to peel it off the backing first, then cut it! The paper is designed so the edges stop a little before the edge of the backing, which makes it really easy to peel off, but if you cut that part off first and THEN try to remove the backing it is really hard!
It depends on a few factors - Phomemo have some papers that will last for different times, so that’s a factor. One of them is good 20 years! I don’t think I was using the 20 year one though 😅 Also being exposed to heat will make them fade faster. None of mine have faded yet at all but it’s only been about 6 months!
Yes definitely! It will make them black and white, with no greyscale like the photo I printed in the video, but you can absolutely print from your camera roll. 😘
I don’t think so - I live in a city that gets very hot in summer and mine are going fine so far! I’ve had my printer about a year now and none of my prints have faded at all. And mine isn’t the fancy 20 year paper, just the normal one!
@@ErinSmith thank you for letting me know. I’m having a difficult know what model to get as there are so many to choose from. Any suggestions? Also, I want to purchase a mini photo printer and loved the Kodak but film is impossible to find. Any thoughts would help.
I’ve only used the M02 so I can’t speak much about the others sadly! As for photo printers, I have the HP Sprocket. Its photo quality is ok, it bothers me sometimes but I work as a photographer so I’m probably more picky than most people! I’ve found Canon thermal paper looks pretty good in it - the colours come out a bit better than the sprocket paper!
I'm not sure if it's just me, but I have one of these printers and used it a ton in my previous bujos.. only to flip through them a few months later and find the prints near enough completely gone from the paper... :/
I'm so sad that happened Cinti! I've heard it can happen, it seems like light, heat and humidity have a lot to do with it (which, yikes - that's my city's weather right there). Did you lose any really important data? Some of the papers on Phomemo's site have specific year ratings, like 10 years, 20 years, etc but others don't, so not sure how long they might hold up. I guess we'll know my the time we get to my next flip through video if the same curse has befallen me! 😅
@@ErinSmith yeah, silly me printed all the notes from my old phone on them before factory reseting it 😅 it seemed convenient at the time.. it's just sad cos then why would we use these printers for journaling if a few years later we end up with blank pieces of paper lol 😅 hope yours survive better haha 🙏🏻 love your content by the way 😊 really enjoyed the latest uploads🤩 (I'm all for journal ideas, reviews, hauls and organization vids huh 😂)
In this video I was using brush tip paint markers from Artistro, but you can use any marker! As long as you stamp it before the ink dries on the stamp it should work 🥰
It’s just an A5 clear display folder - I got it at Officeworks here in Australia but most stationery and office supplies places should carry something similar! 🥰
