Seeing her collab with her husband makes me think back to her video where she told her life story through drawings. @@jl7662 before ASMR channels really existed, a common source of tingles was med student practice videos or massage demonstrations, etc. Once dedicated channels started popping up, they kinda went wild with cranial nerve exams because that's what people were searching for.

I absolutely love the "phone voice" effect. One of my favorite videos of yours is the ASMR Airlines series where Darryl makes an appearance as the captain, and you speak over the intercom! I've always found the slight distortion from a speaker very tingly. I love that you made a full video with the effect! 🥰🌛💤

Love this channel so much, and I've been here for a few years now. This was the first ASMR I ever heard of and I'm so grateful to have found it when I did. Was going through a really terrible time back then and this channel helped me so much for calming and helped me sleep when nothing worked at the time. This channel got me back up on my feet thanks to the light, caring and relaxing content and helped me rest so I could put the past behind me. Must be about 5 years now since then, things are completely different now, but I'll never forget how much Maria helped me. ❤️🌹

Does anyone still remember their first experience with ASMR? Mine was in the classroom at school and another student was handing out papers. I was absolutely mesmerised by her gentle actions. Little did I realize that it was only the beginning and was an actual experience with a name! Happy weekend everyone. X
Mine was in elementary school when we had lice-check day and when other girls would ask to play with/braid my hair! I thought all people had the same relaxing little buzzy feeling I got. Later in life I was watching a state worker calibrate the scale at my job, and he had these swift, practiced movements as he got out weights and switched them around to test different amounts. I can't describe it to do it justice, just how he smoothly switched between each combination of weights had me in a trance!
I watched Bob Ross and Mr. Rodgers as a kid and used to sit there in a trance as a 4 year old. In elementary school, the librarian had one of the best asmr voices and her slow, gentle movements as she checked out books and stamped them and the crinkly covers. 😍
Mine was when I was babysitting! The two boys were laying on the floor playing with Lego’s and whispering to each other. I had no idea why I was feeling what I felt I was just mesmerized. Tingly. Felt so awkward. But enjoyable. Then another huge one was with a young child reading a book beside me and gently touching and turning the pages. Or when they play with your hair or face. When I got older it was same but added things like watching people sweep or clean, or when you’re getting glasses fitted! My ophthalmologist has a gentle demeanour and voice, makes me want to get more appointments! Lol
whatever audio effect was used to make it sound like we are actually hearing you over the phone.... absolutely fantastic, the most consistent tingles I've had from ASMR in a while 🩷
