Some common patterns of phonological disorder include: Cluster reduction: omitting one or more consonants from a consonant cluster. For example, saying "top" instead of "stop." Fronting: substituting sounds produced at the front of the mouth for those produced at the back. For example, saying "t" instead of "k."
