What always makes me laugh is how loud and coherent they speak when they're confident in the story, and then as Don chips aways their voice gets smaller and meeker. "Be sure your sins will find you out".
I appreciate that you’re doing this for SEALs, I just wish there were more people like you for the entire umbrella of veterans because there’s so much stolen valor out there it’s disgusting.
@@drunkmike6364my great uncle was a WW2 cook. He could make a mean grilled cheese. However, most of those guys were exposed to some level of combat. It's not like when I went to Afghanistan as an infantryman, unless you were infantry or a door gunner, you normally didn't deal with combat on the level that WW2 guys did in conventional war.
I served with Kevin & William, we were "reclassed up" to a special unit (we cannot talk about or our 5th-grade teachers will be in trouble) after getting too much sand in our groin areas causing a burning sensation and a very sore red rash, forcing us to walk bull-legged back to the quitter's van. After visiting us in the hospital, the Naval Commander of the Seals made sure our minds, bodies & souls were healed ( nearly 11 weeks) before awarding us with the name, "Team Charfing" and each member as "Red Bottoms". As he stated, "We cannot have our boys chafing and not feeling warm fuzzies while on a mission or getting pizzas". As part of our training, the Navy felt it would be best if we finished out our training at home, via a new method using "Call To Duty". We could not talk about it the details, but we're ready for our next call wherever it is for a mission at a local 7-11 or a TV commercial on chafing, "Team Chafing" and the "Red Bottoms" are ready, willing & able to work (as long as there are some ointments nearby).
I never served, but my uncle served in the Royal Marines here in Britain. Stolen valor is a big thing over here too. Makes me sick to see people scamming and pretending while there are veterans out here homeless and suffering. Keep up the good work exposing these idiots.
I'm an Australian veteran, a few weeks ago I met a neighbour who claimed to be air force, pilot, shot down in Vietnam, and some other bullshit. I've since told the other neighbours he didn't serve a single day in the military, and the neighbours laugh at the wanker now. He lost his credibility when I easily told them to google the names of Australian pilots shot down in Vietnam and also the list available for everyone of who served in the Vietnam war through the war memorial. After years of him lying his ass off, he has come undone with a simple google search. He hates me now and he just glares at me, and I smile and wave.
I totally agree!! You would have to be a totally depraved person to assume the identity of what we consider to be an elite, and honorable American Soldier, these people are truly dangerous liars!!!! Run from these people or call Don!
Don, to borrow a phrase from the movie Top Gun you are in a “target-rich environment” in blasting these idiots! As former Navy E5 keep up the good fight!
I’m a high school drop out USMC machine gunner 1985-89. Got hired my first day out. Years later I moved to Texas. Got hired my first day I applied for a job.
I enjoy your videos. As a disabled Navy Vet 83-86 aboard the USS Fort Fisher. Im not about to lie about my service in the Navy and despise wholeheartedly those who do. Keep up the great work Mr. Shipley.
I do not understand why these guys do this. Love watching Mr. Shipley call them out. Seems like these guys always get busted because they always lie way to big. " I was a Ranger, Seal, Green Beret, Marine, Admiral. I have more ribbons and metals than Audie Murphy. " The only reason you cannot find any records of my service is because it was all top secret and classified. " LMAO. Keep up the good work Mr. Shipley. Well done, Sir.
These guys have a lot of love and respect for our servicemen, but unfortunately for them, they were unable to serve themselves due to family issues, medical issues, etc... So the closest they can get to feeling like they served their country is by claiming they did serve.
I have known someone for about 3 years, he says he served 7 years in the army, and practically the only thing he hasn't claimed was to be a Navy Seal. Last month I stopped by his place and he tells me how he got another recruitment letter from the NSA, he goes into his ever expanding fake credentials in the army, and casually says he can't work for the NSA again because he killed too many people he shouldn't have. I am trying not to laugh, he paused for a minute and says, forget I said that. On top of the 15 years of deployments and training and special crazy missions he did in 7 years he was also running around killing people for the NSA. What is great about him, he doesn't limit his insanity to himself, he says he has a good friend that was in the army for 20 years and retired as an E-6 (his favorite rank for some reason). He then joined the navy as an officer, made Captain in 5 years and retired. I said he made Captain in the Navy in 5 years, he said yes, they took into account his 20 years in the army and his E-6 rank. I feel bad for the guy, he doesn't try to get anything from anyone, he just tells stories to make himself feel better.
THIS IS A REAL SICKNESS!!! And it’s ever expanding! *From sheriffs to funeral escorts to security guards to military vets to police officers to astronauts!!!!!!!!* A HUGE MAJORITY OF THEM ALL DO THIS!! Exaggerated honors and medals and responsibilities or positions they’ve held!.. Just look up the RU-vid sensation, JEREMY DEWITT and you’ll be able to dive into this derangement first hand!
@@twisted6671 He has amused me for years. I have tons of pages of stories he has told me, I might compile it all together one day, I mean at least 100 pages. I was in the guard for 6 years, I know straight up 95% of what he tells me is out of some movie he watched, but because I humor him, he thinks he is fooling me. He almost got his ass kicked in a bar, he doesn't know when to shut his mouth, he is rolling off his BS stories to real 82cnd Airborne guys, I am minding my business sipping my beer, watching him dig his hole, and all of a sudden I hear my name. That is when I knew he crossed a line, and was in trouble. He is looking at me, the guys are looking at me, I say 'joe' you had a few too many finish your drink, guys I don't want any trouble, we are going to get out of here. He shut up, finished his drink, we get to the car, and like a 15 year old punks, starts telling me how he hates guys like them, they are sitting around pretending to be Vets, giving the rest of us a bad name.
@@waltg5165 recordings of him would be cool ? Do once a week drop of his weekly escapades Living as a lol cow hero living in society?? Being a Alfa living life like only he cares could? Gold content?.? I’d follow it
My Dad was a three war Marine Corp Veteran. WW2, Korea and Vietnam. My Brother went into the Marines and came out as a Tech Sgt. I turned old enough the year before Saigon fell. They didn’t want my pbj munching’ ass. With My Dad as a lifer, I felt like I was in on field day around the house! Keep up the awesome work!
Had the honor to meet a bunch of Seals after they took over NAS Fallon in operation Red Cell in 91. Base security went crazy! They took over the local watering hole just off base afterwards. Good god they partied. A big highlight in my Navy days.
I'm medically retired he says and an active reservist his resume says. He's quite amazing that one. I ought to know, I was Rambo's commanding officer, I trained him.
Thank you for doing this Senior Chief ... these people are ridiculous. I would think I'd be proud of whatever I did, even if I was a small cog in a giant machine.
Sr. Chief Shipley and his awesome Wife, Diane are owed so much for their continued service. There isn't enough time in a day to do what they do; Exposing stolen valor, training future SEALS, hosting terminally I'll/ disabled hunts and (I hate to classify it this way) entertainment/ content they work so hard to provide. It would be an absolute honor to have the opportunity to have a conversation with them or even better, sit down to a meal and secret drink with Don.
@@hughmac13 You have to watch the upload where he talks about Diane staying home and he admits that he can't even secret drink anymore. It's pretty fucking funny.
I’m not a veteran, but I love our servicemen and women. Thank you all for your service no matter what your rank and no matter what you did in the military. A special thank you to Don Shipley. I wish I could meet him and his wife before my time comes to leave this world!
I personally love it when you blast these idiots!! It blows me away that they are out there blowing and going and yet have no idea who you are! They don’t research their stuff very well! Thank you and Diane for all that you do and for your services! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
I’ve always enjoyed these videos, I was never anything close to special ops, I was a plumber in the usaf and also retrained as I fire suppression technician. (fire sprinkler mechanic) loved my job and the training I received from the military has allowed me to provide well for my family. I’ve never understood these clowns and I guess I never will.
(Using Don's voice) So, you were a Fire Suppression Technician? Do you recall your training class number? Just kidding. I thank you for your service to our country Sir and, I hope this made you laugh.
Have you ever balled up toilet paper and lit it on fire and sent it down the commode to chap anybody's ass? I've heard of that being done one time. It was so funny I just hope it was done more than once
Me and my 2 year old son love watching your shows on the mobile while he falls asleep with em. Will 100% try get ths subscription so we can watch em all
A guy sat down next to me in a restaurant a few months back! Dressed in the old desert camo pants, Seal Team TShirt and a flea market hat with a trident on it! And desert boots! Older guy! Looked like that clown that had the security company that bilked thousands out of investors! Then it was discovered he was a convicted felon! I challenged this guy and he failed miserably!
I was a member of Seal Team Six. I was secret operations undercover though. I was a ghost member, enigma, and Billy Bad Ass! I could tell stories but I'm too proud.
As a Naval Reservist I am totally amazed at the chutzpah of some people. One of my classmates at Kings Point, Class of 1976, was a Seal and retired as an O-6, he is tough as nails even today and has my total respect for all he may have done and been through, stuff I wouldn't be able to do or even want to do. So for all of those who attempt to steal somebody's else's valor they are about as low a scum as you can find.
I didn’t serve but most of my close friends did. I don’t know how you stay calm talking to these poser idiots. I want jump through the phone on your behalf and throttle them. God bless you Don!!
Don don’t these fools watch your videos. They sure don’t know that are no classified Seal Operations. I know redundant. I appreciate your and Dianes hard work for valor and I am pleased to give you my support.
Hey Don, just stumbled across this one, haven't seen it yet, not sure how I missed it. I'm a huge fan, seen a LOT of Dj's videos recently for some reason and love them. I love your videos, especially when you joke around with your wife, you're hilarious and I love both of you. I'm a combat vet, 9 years in the Army, not spec ops, just a tactical communications grunt and I have tremendous respect for the guys that do what you did. My daughter recently married the son of a SEAL team retiree He's currently stationed at Pear Harbor on the USS Michael Murphy and he's trying to feel out what his path in the Navy is going to look like. His dad was SEAL team 2, 10, and Dev Gru. You mentioning the rank of Commander.. I actually knew the answer to that one!! My Son in law's father retired as a Commander and I know that's an O-5. He attended his son's graduation from basic and I had to decode his rank from his uniform... I never knew a lot about the Navy before my daughter married her husband, so it's been a fun learning curve. They're actually doing a fast cruise to Hawaii (The big island) and she actually gets to go with him, so that will be super cool.. Basically a two day cruise on an Arleigh Burke Cruise Missile Destroyer.. wow.. Anyway, keep up the good work and don't let the stress get to you. Stay awesome and keep making fun videos with your wife! You remind me of myself and my wife..
Hey Don! The "Commander" that was an "I 6"? He missed a letter. He wasn't an "I 6" he was an "I W 6". That is " I Wish 6". He wishes he would have been a Navey Seal. There has to be something wrong with these people in the head.
AK3 here. I did my four and was about to reup when I got diagnosed with bipolar and autism. It was a hard four years but I don’t regret it. I grew up a lot in that time and wish that those that served as support would be proud enough of that and not make claims that other achieved.
I don't know how you have the patience to go through every call the way you do... after the 4th or 5th call, my calls would be "name and BUDS class number... wow... another 234 guy huh?"
If it’s the last thing you say to them, like if they’re about to hang up on you, make sure you let them know you are about to make them famous…they need to know this conversation isn’t the end of it. Sometimes you leave these conversations with them thinking that’s the end of it…and that’s not good enough for us, haha. Get ‘em!!
Thanks Don for what you do. I was young when the Viet Nam conflict was in full effect. Because I was 16 years old and in High School, I got a student deferment. Most of my friends were drafted. I can never understand why people would represent that they were there or in any other conflict. For what gains? My son is a veteran. Also what I dont understand is that some of these losers wives and family know dam well what they are doing and they enable them and dont expose them? Good for you and what you do.
Star of stage and screen 😄. You're the best Mr. Shipley, thank you for always keeping us entertained while continuing to provide service to our nation by ousting these liars.
How guys are still pretending TO be, or claiming to HAVE been a SEAL is baffling. How they haven’t heard of Don Shipley is comical. And for the ones that actually served in the military, sh*t, just be proud of THAT. Being a SEAL is a specialty, just like being a neurosurgeon, or nurse, or teacher, or whatever. It requires special training and not just anyone can do those jobs. Be proud if you served. If you didn’t, stop lying….
It’s not even something to be proud of lol. You were a slave to the government, you got told what to do and did what you were told. Nothing honourable about being a pawn.
I wonder how many families have been fed BS by Grandpa about his military career before he died that are now suspecting it was all fiction. I feel sorry for the genuine ones!
No shit, there I was an I6 Navy SEAL commander. I used to train seals in San Diego at an elite compound call SEAWORLD which is a military acronym that stands for Sea Environmental Actives WORLD, we would travel all over the world polishing dolphins in captivity, sort of scrape off the crustaceans.
Freedom of Information Act request, if I recall correctly. But I'm Swedish, so I don't know for sure. I'm only trying to remember what I have heard here. I could be misremembering
Anyone can access records through FOIA. (limited info) HOWEVER if you want MORE detailed records, you need to provide relationship(father, brother etc) to the records. Don has special access to records.
Every time they say classified or they can't talk about it, it makes me think of the don't ask, don't tell, and that's probably what they're really preferring to.😂 Don't ask, don't tell classified policy.😮
