Part 2-David Goggins shares about his life transformation and Navy SEAL BUD/S Hell Week 💯 #davidgoggins #NavySeals #navyseal #USNavy #AllHandsMagazine #navysealtraining #motivation #shorts
@@taylorwyant2836 I used it as a double entendre . 7 days wasn’t enough for Goggins so it was weak . Weak as in physical/ mentally weak . I obviously know how to spell week you goofball .
@@Dro1o1No one said it’s an excuse dumb ass. However it’s just a fact that when you have nothing to lose, you’ll give it your all. After all, there is NOTHING TO LOSE. Someone who doesn’t know the hardships of it or has a lot to lose won’t do such thing
@@dominus6224 doesnt matter, we can all push ourselves to become a better version, its all about your mentality and how bad you want it…but you wouldnt understand that
Love how dry and to the point this comment is. So true. My grandparents truly endured some shit as well. The way they told it, they even had to make their own pencils, erasers, and paper and grow and pick the crops, prep the crops, then cook and eat them. If I hadn't spoke up, I am sure they'd have made their own dirt.
Went through fmtb w 3 times if anyone knows what that is, got closer to graduation each time was 2 days from graduation but failed my final hike, got orders back to the fleet and chose to return to field med to finish what I started. No matter what it is keep pushing people may call u crazy but it’s that insanity that breeds success
1st day of my nco selection both my feet had the skin come off after 8km walk with 50kg, adrenaline is a helluva thing pushed thru at the end I saw what I was made of..brother Mike 👊
Or, you know, you coulda just showed up prepared and saved yourself all that BS😂 There is no reason a healthy young person shouldnt make it through field med.
Marcus Aurelius also believed in the importance of controlling one's emotions and desires. He wrote, "You have power over your mind - not outside events. Realize this, and you will find strength."
This man has gone through hell willingly multiple times, through debilitating pain that an average individual could only imagine. Look at where he is now and as crass and forward he is, look at where that energy is pointed to. He is consistently honing his existence, he is consistently trying to motivate others with how he lives. He still serves others whilst keeping himself deadly
Goggins is the best, I thought his book is an absolute must read. The part of him telling about how someone died in his 3rd hell week doesn't do what he goes into detail in his book about it. It's the realest part of the book in my opinion and it really makes a person respect what people do to become a Navy Seal. I thought I knew what I was before reading and listening to the audible of "Can't Hurt Me" but now I know I have so much untapped potential and I kick myself because of it. I'm working harder now than I ever have in my life because of his books. Yep that's right I said books. I'm currently reading "Never Finished" it's just as good if not better than "Can't Hurt Me" I highly recommend both books if you are feeling like you are depressed or have no friends, family or think you are worthless. His books will make you think again, I promise.
@@samlittle7243Read his book can't hurt me, David Goggins went through 3 hell weeks and he completed 2 but had to redo buds training bcs of his injuries
Hes compensating for his short comings he obviously doesnt wanna talk about. Nobodys gonna ask you about the questionable shit in your life, if all you ever talk about is how tough you were back in training.
3 times? This dude is a machine. Buds hell week only has a 20 percent success rate. They bring you to your limit and beyond mentally and this guy went through 3 of them. Dude is not from this planet.
Ranger regiment is, theres a difference between going to ranger school and being a ranger. Ranger school is a leadership course, graduating it earns you the short tab. In order to be a ranger you have go through selection, earn the scroll and be assigned to and serve with the regiment. Short tab is uniform candy, scroll is special operations.
I mean that’s literally what all conceivable branches and their sub-classes all teach you. The Physical pain is not the worst part; It’s the Mental pain you have to push through to keep going. Think about the 54 Hour Crucible marines have to pass before they become marines. You go to the bathroom once before hand hand, eat one single MRE, and then you have to go 48 full hours without a chance to use the bathroom, eat or even sleep. At the 48 hour mark, you get a 15 minute nap, one single MRE, a chance to piss and shit in a hole, and then it’s another 6 hours of worse physical pain than the first 48. . It doesn’t matter how physically strong you are, that’s literally the foundational purpose of the Crucible. If you have a shit Mentality and cannot ignore the pain, the hunger, the urge to shit, and the urge to pass out, then you immediately fail out of the Marines completely.
A beast. I'm glad he belongs to us. He's unstoppable. Imagine him with a knife in one hand a gun in the other? He's what I think would be the sword hand of God.
@subifyouareagainstantifaan3928 Yeah I think I'd rather take the guy that got through bud/s after starving himself for 3 months and 2 other hell weeks where he fractured his knee and could barely walk but still got through it. The people that graduated first class are nothing compared to him
Makes me think about a fighter and to improve, you need to fight someone more skilled and tougher than you are in order to grow. Those three hell weeks must have taught him an incredible amount as compared to one hell week. I can’t even imagine
During SOI ITB, I failed the 20k hike (very last hike in order to graduate) due to heat cramps and got dropped back to the next company coming through. Basically had to start at the beginning again, it truly took some soul seeking to discover if I could put myself through it all again. I completed the 20k hike this time and it was an amazing feeling. I can’t imagine what was going through Goggin’s mind having to go through 3 hell weeks, man is a beast!
@@gregfrancis9471if thats the case, I got an amazing opportunity for you brother. Let me know where youre at and Ill get you in touch with a recruiter.
@@tristenstover2300thats not true. The vast majority of quitting happens during the first 3 weeks, the guys that kinda got by during those weeks usually quit in hell week. Some quitting still happens in 2nd and 3rd phase, and obviously dudes get rolled and dropped for various reasons, but the attrition definitely is at the highest in 1st phase pre hell week.
@@tristenstover2300 Nope. Most quit / DOR prior to hell heek or during hell week. Quite a few get performance dropped though during dive phase and 3rd phase.
He finally graduated with class 235, but if anyone has watched the BUD/S documentary about class 234 you'll see him in it mustering when they're in 3rd phase
