I show how versatile this reactor can be, different ways to setup a two little fishies reactor, problems with the reactor, and how to rinse out GFO for use in a saltwater reef aquarium
Thank you for this video! This was perfect exactly what I needed to make the purchase and now I have an idea on how I want mine set up! Thank you thank you thank you there’s literally no videos this down to earth showing the process!
I got one of these in a craigslist score but I run all freshwater in my fishroom! I'm excited to see what kind of cool things I can do with this in a freshwater application, should be fun and interesting...lol cool video it helped me alot
Thanks Gil, had to do a spot light on the phosban reactor, I'll be adding a third reactor to run biopellets, and the sweet thing is they'll all be next to each other in the sump
cool. i have one of these reactors on order and intend to run it with rowaphos. if i am happy with it i may get a second unit for nitrate reduction. what would be a good media for nitrate reduction?
I was thinking about running this reactor with carbon. Trying to really add some upgrades to the 140 FOWLR so it will be as automated as possible. Right now I'm running bags of Chemi-Pure Elite and it works great but does require weekly rinsing.
fluidizing the carbon is going to be your best bet to get full use out of your carbon, although mine get full of pods...i think its way better than the bags
Hey thanks, I was thinking about the BRS reactor for my 34g. But this seems to be low profile, which is something I need since the stand isnt to large. Great Job!
