photo & Image transfer print on wood from epson inkjet printer for Pyrography art and craft 

Worked for me. I have an elderly Canon inkjet printer. I happened to have a piece of acetate which had been used in packaging something or other. I repurposed that and I didn't even have to buy the acetate. Once I had printed the image onto the sanded acetate, I just rubbed the reversed image from the acetate sheet onto the wood without wetting the wood. Wetting the wood made the ink run. Different printers may have different inks so it may take a couple of tries to get things right depending on your printer. The image washed very easily from the acetate and the acetate can be reused. If I don't want to do pyrography ... is it possible to use some varnish or lacquer just after transfer ? 2. and does it works with colorful images too ? (I guess yes but ...) Anyway, THANK YOU !! Can you get the image off the "paper" and reuse the same "paper" for a different image?
