It sure can. Not only that, Liz, GOD sees and it pleases HIM when we are kind & compassionate one to another. ...and they’ll know we are christians by our LOVE.
It's really not the exception. I see people do nice things for other people all the time. The exception is that they're reporting this on the news. The media usually sticks with bad news because it gets better ratings.
I have feeling his kind act on that day was not the exception to the norm for the young man. He’s clearly used to lending a helping hand. There are many more like him, but we mostly hear about the opposite.
I had a hip replacement and I was a mess before and after. There were so many kind strangers that helped me . I found young men especially helpful and they often struck up the type of conversation that would make their mothers proud. There are so many kind people in this world but our news is full of stories about hateful people. Let’s support our youth become the leaders they deserve to be.
Hell yeah! This young man is a paragon of what being a gentleman is. No race nonsense, no age difference nonsense, it was one beautiful human being helping another beautiful human being. I wish I could buy him lunch. He is a fellow Hoosier, as well.
Of course there is a race nonsense! Since his actions are put up front because he is black! As if the majority of Blacks were bad citizens! This is ridiculous! He just behave normaly!
It’s amazing how one small act of kindness can be such a huge act of kindness to the person being helped. We all need to look around for someone to help. Hats off to you young man!
@Lynn Anderson no Lynn, I get you have concerns about our schools. But why voice them here, when its about a community showing appreciation for their UPs driver? Not to be too snarky...BUT....your spelling is atrocious. Are you just mad because you failed as a student?
@Lynn Anderson my God Lynn..... You just gave me an epiphany. This whole thing was staged! They found some white kid, painted him black, and threw him in the direction of that old senile white woman so he could help her! OMG you're genius!!!
Exactly what I was thinking as I watched this. It’s called common courtesy and it must be a dying art. I’m glad this young man’s parents remembered how to teach their son human kindness.
@elizabeth pina Imitation is the greatest form of flattery. They’re inspired by your words and actions enough that they want to steal it - so you make more words and actions.
HE may not come when you want HIM, but when you need HIM, HE is right on time! Absolutely Amen... old folks taught me that as a kid... it’s still true to this day!
@@karmaisreal111 Now we have Afghanastan, inflation, Ukraine, Supply chain issues, illegaals flooding in. Yep everything is SO much better. BTW not ONE person has been charged with insurrection. It doesn't matter with you guys. I often wonder how anyone can be as stupid as someone like you. Your rotten, senile, feckless, weak president will go out as one of the worst ever to hold office. In one year he has F'd the country up unbelievably and you talk about Trump. Trumps shit is better than Biden;s brain.
I love these types of stories! We need more positivity and kindness our world! I hope parents take a note and teach their children how their positive and kind behavior could impact another persons life.
MyHahn, Amen! But how tragic that this is somehow so "rare" in people's experience that it makes the news. I told my youngest daughter (15) today that I have noticed lately that she has been behaving in a "mean" way. I told her, "If you're struggling, begin by saying "please", "thank you", and just trying to be kind once ... then twice. Everyone we meet is fighting some hard battle, you never know when your kind word or gesture might mean the world. Love, Sean
It's a sad world when we celebrate one person helping another, why should this be such a strange story it's what we all should be doing, great kid from a caring family.
A gentleman indeed. What a sweetheart. It’s easy to see this young man was raised beautifully. If we had millions of people like him, our world would be a much happier place. God bless and protect him always 🙏🤗❤️
Im nearly 70 and ive always found young teenagers boys and girls very mannerly towards me if you treat them with respect they will respect you SOME women in there 40s are the problem I find they dont think twice about telling you to f... off 😳
Beautiful story. Thank you young man from a parent who taught their children to do the exact same thing. Glad to see good manners and helping others is still "alive" in this world. God bless you son! 😷🤘
She told “Lord you got to help me”…..he send this heartwarming gentleman….who not only helped her but carried a conversation that calmed her nerves…..his a heartwarmer with kindness and sincereness….lucky we have great people on earth…thank you Mr. HERO🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰♥️♥️
I would like to congratulate that young man's parents you guys did a outstanding job most kids nowadays would have walk past the lady had soft to you young man
Just last week the TV News showed hidden cameras showing plenty of old ladies being pushed and robbed and some showed punched in the head as they walk on the sidewalk! So happy for a positive report!
Random acts of kindness getting international attention…not to discount what that young man did, because it was awesome, but damn…why would this be sensationalized? Ask yourself that question. Here’s the answer…you all ready?…the world has grown so cold, so divided..lack of compassion is a plague. That young man did what he believed in his heart was the right thing to do. No matter what color someone’s skin is, good manners hold no boundaries. Okay, 🤔 now I see why it made international attention…hopefully younger kids start to look up to someone like him. Idk about you guys, but I’m sick and tired of the media pushing out hate and division…it’s time we stop this all madness and start being more compassionate towards one another. For the youth of the world: If you see an elderly person that needs assistance, do what this dude did. If you see a veteran, show them respect. If you see a Vietnam veteran in particular (they may be wearing a hat, or jacket) shake their hand and tell them “welcome home”. Start imitating this young man instead of rappers or the Kardashians ffs. No matter what color skin someone wears, remember this…we all bleed red.
Love this. Good on you, young man! But the fact these small acts of kindness are applauded and going viral shows the sad world we live in now. How are people just walking past this lady? Absolutely ridiculous.
I love this. A giant shout out to his parents for raising such a beautiful and kind young man. Small things like this or just smiling at someone can literally save a life.
Sometimes it's the smallest kindness shown by a stranger that makes the biggest difference. Bravo to the young man who offered help to this lady. Your a fine specimen....and I sure appreciate people like you. 😁👍✨❤️✌️❤️✨❤️
When I was a young person in the 50's, you always helped older people. It never made the news as something wonderful, as it was just how you were raised. It's sad that acts of kindness are so rare in todays world. This young man was raised the right way and will go far in the world.
In the 50s this polite young man would have been lynched for touching an old white lady. Don't romanticize the 50s, they were HELL ON EARTH for anyone who wasn't a straight white male. Your memories are failing you. You'll be gone soon and we can move on from ignorant people like you one day.
