Back again with another video (I know, it's been a while). It took me weeks to edit this video, but I finally was able to get it done. I really want to deliver the highest quality content for you all, and, unfortunately, it sometimes takes ages to film and edit the videos. Here is an 80s classic from Def Leppard. It's off 1983's 'Pyromania', and it's arguably one of the greatest rock anthems in history. The production on this track (and the whole album) is absolutely incredible. As some of you may know, I can't upload the song with the vocals due to copyright. RU-vid seems to really detect vocal melodies and will automatically flag any videos that it sees as a violation of the copyright rules. That being said, I think that for the purposes of demonstration and learning, an instrumental only version with the guitars front and center makes for a unique and fun approach. So here it is and hope you enjoy! 🤘🏻😎🤘🏻
P.S. - As usual, everything you hear in this video was created from scratch. I've gradually moved away from using pre-made backing tracks and instead have been creating my own. It also helps me practice my mixing and mastering skills. The drawback is that it is way more time-consuming than using pre-made files, but I feel I've grown more as a musician by doing this.
P.S. 2 - This is a condensed version of the song. The last verse/chorus/solo are not included since the video would probably be too long and most people would not likely watch until the end.
P.S. 3 - The original song is NOT in standard tuning!! But it's also not a 1/2 step down! It's somewhere in between (the band must've slowed the tape down a bit for the final release). I did this cover in standard, nonetheless, so that learning it and playing along is simpler.
P.S. 4 - There is a slight mistake in the TAB regarding the very last chord before the pre-chorus. Instead of 5 on the D string and 7 on the G string it should be 7 on the D and 9 on the G! It's basically an A power chord.
