Brings a new meaning to “2 B or not 2 B that’s the question”. I bracket away mainly 3 and often find I prefer one of the brackets processed vs blending, will have to update my processing skills. Any tips?
I am trying to reach and grow the channel primarily so have avoided editing and longer content as people just "switch off". Take my latest video for example - total waste of my effort. However, I will do an upload on an image (not this one) likely on Tuesday or the following Tuesday. See how that goes!
@jbphoto7493 thanks so much. I tell you what - I will do you a deal. I am out this week to film / shoot the last parts of an upcoming mega series shot here in Turkiye - as I am filming again this week - I will discuss a little on the editing side as well as shoot an element of the edits. 😊
I literally did these ones pretty fast in Lightroom. EDIT IN > HDR MERGE. After that, I straighten anything that is out or off in Photoshop. Use individual colour adjustments, settings, and graduated filters in camera Raw. Fast = because my video upload speeds are currently really slow - so I was in a race against time to get into the video.
You said that you start with the highlights as the top end of the exposure for a series of brackets, but how do you assess this ? Histogram or experince by looking at the screen?
