Good to see you back, sir! That’s really good advice! I’m more of an amateur photographer myself but I’ve done shoots at weddings and other occasions for friends with my Z6. The more you try to catch some fancy looking shot the more likely you are to miss a moment that would’ve been truly worth capturing. Reading the room and making sure that people feel at ease around you really produces some great results.

Great topic to kick off with, my fav photos are the ones that I enjoy taking, that I enjoy looking at because they feel like they have me in them, if that makes sense. You are 100% correct, when you say be yourself, when you are more organic with your photography it shines like a beacon.

Hey buddy! I use the standard monochrome profile when im shooting just to see the difference in shadows/highlights but for editing we use mastin lab. I did a video on it a year or two back!

@@TheMonochromeMemoirs Hi Will, thanks for your response. My standard profiles in my Z6II are for colors Kodachrome and for b/w Kodak T-Max400. Since I discovered these profiles my editing workflow is much easier and quicker. I don't use any LUT's. I just reduce the saturation and I'm done

Welcome back. Would love to see how you can do a candid family shoot but with only Straight out the camera shots no edits that can be uploaded to your socials etc on the go especially if your travelling with family or because it’s just your hobby and don’t want to get bogged down in editing photos.
