Photographing Malta - Bad Weather and Photography

In November I travelled to Malta for 5 days, to do some landscape and cityscape photography. Unfortunately the weather was not very good, so I had to do a lot of photography in less than ideal conditions.
In this video I show you how I photograph Valletta and Mdina during blue hour and I take you along a hike I did at the Dingli Cliffs.

Photography is such a good way to explore new locations eh. That last cliff side bay we were at a few days ago. Such a great scene looking out towards Gozo. Good work in tough conditions Michael.

This was a beauty shame you had bad weather, but some stunning video & time lapse work. My first holiday abroad with my wife was Malta in the 70’s brought back some nice memories. Thanks again Michael. 👍👍

I am a big fan of your work. Vlogs seems to be very interesting and easy to watch and photo techniques in tutorials are really useful. Hope, you have a great life and you’re happy with everything you do. Such hobbies must have a much more fans, but people nowdays rather prefer shitty bloggers which will made only slomo videos with instagamish luts applied.

The Canon's neck strap that's packaged with the camera has a little plastic thing attached. That is actually a viewfinder block. You can slide off the regular viewfinder eyepiece, then slide on the block for long exposures. It took me years to learn what that thing was!

It is, but it's to much fuzz to apply it, when you also want to use the viewfinder to compose the shot in the dark ;-) It's much easier and practical to just use the large lens cloth which I carry around anyway

warum in englisch wenn dein englisch so übel klingt. Manche Redewendungen würde ein Muttersprachler nie so im englischen sagen. Sorry aber das klingt wie Schulenglisch .... als Deutscher solltest du deutsche Tuts machen
