Holy smokes you are quite focused on your hobby, pun intended. As a machinest i love the Starrett picture on your wall. I still use a Starrett mechanical tach to check rpm's on lathe and mill spindles. The fact that the picture has an airplane on it makes it more special to me. Thank you sir.

The original didn't have the airplane.... the image came off an old Starrett catalog and I modified it by adding the airplane. I thought it fit. Glad you like it>

Good video. I would bet very few who watched this video over the five years knew the Ozzie mentioned at 00:01. His attire matches too. Extra points if you know the type of plane Ricky died in.

In my opinion Canon is by far the best choice. One factor is the awesome fact that no matter what lens is available for a Canon it will always fit another Canon. I have lenses that I purchased over the years for my old film Canon and I did not have to purchase new lens when I purchased my digital, since all the lens are interchangeable. Sad that they are the only camera manufacturer that had this foresight but it did make the camera choice a simple one!

Kevin Morrison As a Canon user, I would have to disagree. Canon keep changing their mounts (FD, EF and EF-S). Nikon lenses from thirty years ago can be used with modern bodies. I rarely use dSLRs these days since I switched to mirrorless.
