It is also great how he legitimises his being there by including some artistic and beautiful shots that he took in that location, much better than hanging around a job centre muttering loudly to yourself hoping that someone comes and gives you content.
I don’t see what Focus does as auditing, he produces beautifully put together movies that include amazing photography, artistic montages and an intelligent soundtrack! As if you needed anymore you also get treated to interactions with morons that represent the police and or security services guaranteed to make fools of themselves with lies and robotic non relevant rhetoric! Focus beats them down with intelligent and grounded argument, his motivations are obvious to preserve his right to photograph without being bothered by the plod. Keep up the great work FP I really enjoy watching your films!
What a year it’s been. First I discovered Crimebodge, then Auditing Britain & Kolee, Then Live Free. And now Focus Pocus. What an enlightening time we live in.
I love how the photography auditer is always neutral, never pissy, antagonistic, not even a little bit sarcastic. It's this attitude that enables him to do what he does. He subtlety makes people realise their own ignorance. It's a little bit genius, really.
Nice to see an English man doing this, in a civil and polite manner. Reminds me of NEWS NOW HOUSTON. As soon as you become hostile or angry you lose your high ground. Keep going buddy
Not only a telephoto lens, but at a prime telephoto lens. Tell that to someone who doesn't understand such things under these circumstances and you immediately have the high ground in the discussion.
the reply was classic 'omg, I just fucked up' 'well your on public domain...' who says that? domain? lol so he admits the guy is not on private property and he still thinks he needs permission to take pictures' dumbass
😄😄😄😄😄 it’s the best bait everyone falls for. Huuuge camera on a taped up tripod aimed at your workplace ahahahaaaa. I’d also get stressed and use the blinds. “Is that weirdo still outside? Shut the blinds, fooookin hell”
There are so many people photographing stuff and I do love to see police and security being put in their place but I subscribe to you because I really love the pictures and filming. Really nice work.
Focus Pocus - I suspect the council painted the double yellow lines on the road, therefore it is a public road! Also, I apologise! I didn't ask your girlfriend if I could watch your video - PRICELESS!!
And this is where a lot of private security trip up. If a road has been adopted by the local highways authority, it is a public road and, therefore, a public place. Road includes carriageway and pavement.
Just a quick observation, There are double yellow line all along that road. If you parked there, who would issue the fine. If council then public land. If private, then surely there should be a break in the lines somewhere where one could take authority over the other.
"Have you got permission form my girlfriend to talk to me?" "Well you're in the public domain" "Exactly" Even as he said it you could see his testicles retracting inside himself as he realised what he was saying. Brilliant.
I used to work in Chadwick House in the mid-90’s. The building used to have two sets of wooden paternoster type lifts in the lobby up to each floor, which are a kind of open fronted, carousel type lift that you just hop in and out of to go either up or down as they travel in a continuous loop. I expect there aren’t many left anywhere now in our much more Health and Safety conscious world.
Yank here. Seems when you left the first area you were on a public road passing by the property. I think that because the light poles are the same as the light poles in your second location. Therefore public access/right of way. Anyway GOOD FOR YOU for standing up for public photography.
Cop once told me a public place is anywhere the public can gain access to, without climbing a fence or kicking a door in if the door is open you can just walk in by the way, so lock them
So if a person has a good photographic memory, would it create a suspicion if you where caught looking at the building for any amount of time, but a camera is different, how?
*i get just as much enjoyment from the very professional way this Mans videos are edited and presented as i do from the subject matter* there's valuable on screen supplemental information added when needed and just enough stills here n there that really add to the visuals which actually show off the good eye for a picture that the fella obviously has. there's also narration where needed. *each to there own but if it were me i'd not be so pally pally. i'd not be abusive or aggressive but i'd definitely do everything i could to make the police/security look as much of a twat as i could*
I'm security from the business Park, should have told him you wasn't interested in his latest career move and what made him think you was , he had no idea what to do when he approached you and had to go back to his boss who should have sacked him on the spot for wasting company money and time
The sound of copper, hitting concrete, was deafening!, as soon as he said " you're in the public domain! " hey, DID, he ever get permission from your girlfriend????? Rumor has it, he is still speaking to the LANDLORD!
Why are they so scared of the guy with a camera. I could park up the next day, turn my dashcam 90° and leave it running, get the exact same results and he wouldn't even know
