It’s so refreshing to be around young people that are curious and have substance.

@@TravisPacheco1 it truly is. I’ve had many experiences over my life with old souls and young vessels, and I’m just grateful that I’m able to recognize them when they’re happening. Hope you’re doing well today, Travis.

So nice to see you give this young guy some love. As a teacher I was fortunate to be around kids and experience their thoughts, abilities and insights. I would get really frustrated when I'd hear older people blanket trashing "those damn kids" all the time. Thanks and have a great weekend Moe!

Agreed Charlie. I have learned to judge little as I go through life. More fun that way

Great conversation there Moe. There are people we meet along life's pathway that do inspire us; I remember working with two or three other photographers when I was maybe the same age as Taiye, and they truly fired my imagination. It is comforting to know that in this case, the young man inspired the older one!

Thanks Alan. It’s important to be receptive for motivation from all sources. I agree with you 100% where I expect to be a teacher most of the time I sometimes have to sit back and learn from others. Age is not a factor when it comes to knowledge.

It’s almost always more interesting on asking the why instead of how. I always enjoy gear and what tools there are to tell my story but have to remind myself sometimes just to get out and shoot and hone on this craft of photography. Great video like always sir. Love hearing personal interactions with such depth in the conversation. Keeps the drive going.

You've captured and put into words the direction this old person is going. I may get there, or not, but it's nice to know there's company along the way. BTW - Is that an X-T50 in your hand?

@RipeOldBanana it is an X-T50, At least for now. A journey is always best with good company

Moe, will you do a book as the end product of your project? Thanks for sharing this short experience. Cheers
@MoeMorales
@MoeMorales 13 часов назад
Not sure if I would. A lot of these photos, I’m taking are of people’s family members, so it would all be dependent on if the families would be OK with me making such a book. I may entertain it though so thanks for suggesting. Cheers JR.

@@MoeMorales True, sometimes it is difficult to get releases from families. Might be worth a try, just get a release before you snap shutters. Great idea for a project.
