The placement of the horizon should be known by photographers before they shoot. It's crucial to give your photgraphy proper balance and view. Without this knowledge you'll likely struggle with your photography.

Keep up the good work! Thanks to you I now know why the camera grid is the way it is, I'll try to focus more on the intersections than the center next time around!

Thank you very much! I'm happy to help. It's indeed very useful. I recommend to use the grid all the time until you know the grid in the back of your head. After that you could begin taking photos without having to use it!

@@artview7929 my background is more military shooting so I use the grid mostly for leveling because that's very important there. (as well as motion and breathing controll when pressing the shutter.)
