It's really difficult to find tutorials like this. The quality is over the top: super clear explaining, link to safe downloads, high quality layers and it's ALL FREE. My biggest compliments sir.
Honestly one of the best tutorials I've watched, you really break down steps well. I also appreciated the graphics of the keys coming up. Great editing and an amazing final product!
One of the best tutorials I have ever watched. Everything about it was perfect. I've had to use this a couple times now over the last couple years and it has been great!
Hello again. I used this technique and I’m thrilled with the results! I’m redoing my bedroom in a French style theme and found a piece I wanted to use. However it wasn’t exactly how I’d like it, until I followed this video. Thank you again so much. 👏
Your work and tuts blow me away! You are responsible for my friends who think I'm an amazing Photoshop expert, which I am not! LOL. Thank you. Watched your tuts for years. I'm sending you some "appreciation" at Patreon, soon.
Obrigado! Estou feliz que você goste deles. By the way, por muitos anos, meus tutoriais traduziram legendas. :-)
the deguerrotype template is just a link to the scratches texture and there is no link to the template edit- nevermind when you open the deguerrotype template file it has both textures
I want the color pic I have for a shirt decal to look vintage or like a well washed shirt. Can I use this tutorial, but not change the pic to black and white?
Hello Marty I certainly appreciate your explaining these steps, BUT it appears that one still needs to have a pretty good grasp of Photoshop, I do not. I don't have Photoshop on my computer, I have something called Photoshop Elements 3? I'm not certain if it's related to the parent program or not? I've had it on my computers for 8 or 9 years. I have the manual, but it's still beyond my comprehension? I've tried many times to use it, but gave up in total frustration. I'm a 18th. and 19th. century knife and Black Powder shooting accessory maker. I'd like to be able to add some interest to the photos of the products I craft before I list them online, however the difficulty of using PS:E3 has relegated me to the usual "garden variety" photos on my deck hand rail, NOT interesting at all!! I actually tried a free version of Photo Effects Studio. It works OK, but I don't want to buy it. I've already paid good money for this PS:E3. I just subbed to your channel, hoping that at some point the knowledge will magically pop into my head? I suffered an ischemic stroke in 2013 that left my brain somewhat scrambled. I'm (for the most part) the same as before the stroke except for the brain issue, and some strength and dexterity issues in my Left side. I still try my hardest to survive this world, but technology is killing me. Any words of wisdom? I'll take whatever you have? Thank you. God bless: Dave
Hi Dave. I hope you continue to get better and to keep exploring in Photoshop. My advice is not to give up on learning new technology. Unfortunately, one cannot follow my tutorials using Elements because it doesn't have many features found in the full version of PS. I try not to skip any steps in my tutorials, for the sake of Photoshop beginners and novice. FYI: You can download the most recent version of Photoshop by subscribing to the Adobe Creative Cloud Photography Plan. For $9.99 p/month, you get Photoshop + Lightroom + 20 GB of cloud storage. adobe.ly/2rlcoP7. Lightroom is good for photo editing, but even if you don't use it, you get the most recent version of Photoshop.
@@BLTV_Photoshop Thanks Marty I'll look into that. I'm certainly depressed that PS3E won't do what I want, but that's the story of my life. lol :~))))) Thanks for the encouragement. God bless: Dave
Your tutorials are awesome. You are a refined artist. Your targeted audience are pros hence please.. Repeat menu items and especially teach like you are teaching to second grade students like double sided arrow etc. Too irritating to follow. Go straight like pro who's audience are pros.
Thank you for your comment. The vast majority of my viewers are not "pros" as you said. Most of my viewers are beginners and novices who have been brushed aside by the majority of online Photoshop instructors. If my videos are too slow for your liking, then clearly, my channel is not for you. There are plenty of other PS channels that move much quicker and don't cover every step. I wish you much success in your endeavors.
With all respect, I beg your pardon. Just to mention your are not slow, in fact your much faster and thorough on the subject indeed. I always admired your works. You're one of my remote Gurus. All I was pointing was the approch of fundamentals while creating a great result relating to advanced users. But your works are, simple, creative, choice of appropriate visuals, remarkable language and clear voice. I apologise profusely if I sent a wrong message.ram
