I feel like you're the village voice for all of us. You understand the needs and wants, provide good criticism with your content and then they fix it. I have an image of all of them around the computer watching your video, taking notes and then they divide and conquer.

this Photoshop AI update looks incredible. As someone passionate about AI and design, I'm blown away by the new features. The seamless integration of AI into creative workflows is truly game-changing. It reminds me of how platforms like SmythOS are revolutionizing other industries by weaving AI into everyday business processes.
All right, I will comment on anything else except the main topic, I plan to completely ignore the unmentionable. WOW! Adjustment brush, a tool that saves me from pressing 3 clicks, incredible Photoshop, what? THAT? I don't know what you're talking about, what's with the reference image generator? that thing that will steal our jo... WOW PHOTOSHOP NOW HAS A NEW FONT PANEL!!! OMG! nice one photoshop!
I've recently taken the leap, and subscribed to photoshop, having been a Captain Jack 7 seafarer my whole life before. But after watching your videos for years, I wanted to try my hand at the full features of the program. With you talking me through features, it becomes infinitely easier, and the learning curve is that much less steep. Also a thing I really appreciate about your content is, that you also make videos like this, where you discuss new features, and demonstrate one use for them. It makes approaching new things easier, and you provide just enough inspiration to let people try their hand themselves. Thank you for your content and time.
My practise on teeth whitening is NEVER make the teeth equal to or whiter than the whites of the person's eyes. That does not exist in a healthy natural person and instantly screams photoshopped. 😉 Who wants the teeth to be the focus of a face?
Very cool - thanks for breaking down the new features! I've found myself using the generative fill tools to extend several images this week. Super useful.
When Adobe launched Generative Fill, I, like many others, was also skeptical. But after using it for my professional work, there is no going back. All these features are excellent, I would say.
All these new features are great. However, I am wondering about something: what is happening with the Neural Filter? No change has been applied since a while. Is it to be replaced eventually with the generative fill functionality? For example, the possibility to apply long exposition is something that is in the list of future upgrades in the Neural Filter. Is it a future generative fill functionality or is it already there?
2:14 You can also move the generative fill layer to another location, scale or distort it, hit generate, and it will rematch the content to the background of wherever you moved it.
Thanks, it is a great tutorial, may I kindly request you to provide some guidance on the installation and use of Comfy-Photoshop-SD, Many thanks in advance
I'm surprised with all the advances in Photoshop, and now the direct integration with Adobe Fonts, that we still don't have a way to select text baked into an image, and have Photoshop identify the font, or offer the one we have installed (or available on Adobe fonts) and suggest the one most similar. Would be such a time saver.
I don't get this, isn't this any company ever? Saying that Adobe's ai have been amazing in PS. Looking forward to generative fill coming to premiere and after effects.
I mean is that wrong or? Their generative fill AI is actually awesome and very useful and so are many of these new features. They're not cheap so they better provide great products
Many thanks. Love the video. There are certainly a lot of things happening in the wide and woolly world of Ai. I noticed that you are on a Mac. Things don't seem to work quite the same way on a PC. For example, Select Subject doesn't appear on the Contextual Task Bar. The only option is Apply to Object. You have to go through the Menu Bar to Select Subject. Why, why, why do they have to complicate things???????????????????????
I love your lessons and videos! Here's a possible missing feature in the new Firefly 3: Earlier, it was possible to generate changes to existing images by applying a partial overlay. There have been several youtube videos explaining how to use an added channel, filling it with a certain percentage of black (e.g., 50%, which equals gray), and then using that channel as the mask. In that way, I could use generative fill to make an existing image an oil painting or a water color, and adjust the intensity by changing the percentage of black used to fill the channel. I can't find a way to do that with the new changes, and I see this lack as quite serious. Am I viewing this correctly? Is there any equivalent feature in the new Firefly 3? Thanks again for your great teaching over the yeares!
but now i can't have the generative fill interact with MY IMAGE by going the quick mask, filling with a percent of gray, leaving quick, put in my prompt and watch the generative fill INTERACT with MY IMAGE. I SHURE HOPE ADOBE DOES NOT TAKE WAY THIS FEATURE as they have with the Beta version
thank you so much for showing your process, failures included. so many photoshop tutorials just show the perfect thing where everything works, which never ever happens. i love that you show realistic examples of what will happen. u try to gen fill w a backpack and hey it isnt a perfect gen fill. then what to do from there. most tutorials will jsut show the one perfect gen fill and then i go to try it and of course... thats not what acttually happens. so thank you SO much for showing real usage examples and how to go from each step as htings dont work perfectly.
Having seen how terrible the AI output is, I’m not worried. I am sure that a lot of crappy AI images will be used in mom and pop store ads, but skilled artists will still be needed as AI is still largely artless. Currently AI output reminds me of the growth of clip art in the 1990s.
Good demo of these features. I only have a very old version, and using the tools i have would take me ages and you're showing same results in a couple clicks
I love your channel for photo edition and other cool features brought by Photoshop. However, could you please recommend channels for graphic design or print design? For example, I struggle to understand how over impressions work when you don't want two colours to overlap in the final printed design. Thanks, and keep creating 😉
THANK YOU!!!! I am not professional and pensioner now all this is new territory for me. Have learned a lot from you, thank you. Just made the update and was checking the new features along with your video, you are awesome explaining in such an easy way. I am sorry to ask for your help. When I subscribed to Photoshop the 2023 version was installed and now when I update that 2023 version is the one I open with the shortcut. I can open the update if I open a picture right click and opt for Photoshop 2024, just updated, but the one installed in my computer does not update. Is there a solution for that? Terribly sorry to bother you with this issue but I am not a techno person and have not found help anywhere else, don't know where to ask for help so sorry to bother you here. Thank you for any help that can be provided. Your videos are like masterclasses for me, thank you once again.
Such an amazing and easy explanation, thank you :) I have a problem, when I have a picture with one main object and i select it, reverse it so i can change the background and then when I type something, lets say: bathroom (ususaly i take pictures of cosmetics) it changes to what i want BUT the main product i always wonky looking. As if AI is adding something to it. Either i am using this AI wrong or it is what it is. So now i am just changing everything like i was doing before AI.
Hi,your videos are amazing and the way you explain, makes it easier to understand and remember.I have a request, can you post any video for real estate interior and exterior editing.
Ride the tiger, surf the tsunami, evolve or evaporate... we're in a brave new world now! 🤖 Thanks for helping us stay current for explaining all these updates in such an accessable and clear way! 🙏
Would you like to make a tutorial where you can adjust the heads with Photoshop? I have to do this all the time with our family now because I only half started doing it once...and not perfectly.
try on a portraits and select the forehead area to be replaced with better quality skin pores from a high end refrence image with perfect skin pores. i wonder if firefly will give you an ear or a beard or a rat instead of skin from that reference image .
Sir ,follower from bangladesh , Can you please, make one video in CYBERPUNK effect edit in photoshop! Because I love your learning technique it's amazing. Tnx
Does the subject for such replacement needs to be cut out first to use it in Generative Fill, or can i use just pick an area of a reference image anyhow?
Thank you, another brilliant tutorial. When trying out PS Beta, with the adjustment brush tool selected, there is no "Select Subject" in the contextual bar. It shows only "Apply to Image". Can you help?
Please tell me why generative fill with intensity level does not work in Beta Version 25.9. (Q quick mask and Shift+f5 fill). Using it, it was possible to draw a simple image, which was then filled with AI generation. This works in version 25.7, but does not work in Beta 25.9.
How much of the ai credits are used with these new features. I still think ai is too low res, but this is an improvement. I can see Adobe getting more expensive over time
I don't have everything you have on your AI and I don't have it in the toolbar either like everyone else seems to have and I have the latest Photoshop Beta and Adobe Firefly. How do I set it up so that I have it the way you have it?
Hi Unmesh, would you consider making a video dedicated to the crop tool? cause at every version it messes all the settings up, when you want expand the canva ect ect
I create my own art and print them on transparent paper, so I can put them on top of a holo foil, so that I have a image with a shiny background, the only thing is I want some objects to not be transparant? Is this possible by printing multiple layers on the same paper?
I pay for PS but I don't have all those options after the update to beta? Speaking of the generative fill for now. (Haven't tried the other things yet) What to do?
