Great tutorial, one note is you must use an 8 bit image to access the filter gallery. Not all filters including the filter gallery will work with 16 bit images (I brought mine over from Lightroom). If you need to change it go to Image>Mode>8 Bits/Channel and you'll be all set.

In almost cases, the Image mode of RGB color and 8 bits per channel is necessary to access most filters. I do state that fact often in my tutorials, however, it would be overkill to say it in every tut.

I love your tutorials for creating photo to digital art and have tried many of them on my own photos. One question. What size can I print? Changing the resolution and canvas size does this create a low quality print if I print beyond a certain size? Would I be able to print to a 24x36 or larger?
