A picture is worth a thousand words; a video maybe a million.
@sree964

there'd be an extreme amount of words because a video is just a string of many many MANY pictures. So trillions maybe?

Some have complained that this presentation is too complex. It was designed for a specific audience, not the general public. The complexity, depth, and detail of a presentation all increase as the abilities of the intended audience increases. I sure wish I had seen animations like this during MY education.

In adittion to this process, after the reaction between co2 and the ribulose diphosphate, the "Calvin Cycle " uses the nadph and ATP produced in the light reactions to synthesize glyceraldehyde: a carbon molecule. After that, the glyceraldehyde will eventually become glucose, which will be used by the mitochondria to generate energy, and a part of the molecule predecessor of the glyceraldehyde will stay in the cicle and will become ribulose again, react with another co2, and so on .... life is beautiful in its simplicity :D

when i first watched this video i thought i was screwed, but then i did a little googling on: ATP, NADPH etc. and got more confused. Then I went and watched a few other videos from this animator on electron transport chains, ATP and finally revisiting this video. Long story short, everything now makes complete and utter sense, just stick with it for a little while and the sense will come eventually...

Photosynthesis is split into the light and dark reactions, iirc. One uses light and electrons to make a gradient, and the dark uses that gradient like water-behind-a-dam to force CO2 together. I think by the end of the video, CO2 was in the form of NADPH.
