In this video from the Neonatal bedside teaching series (aimed at NICU nurses and trainees), I explain about how phototherapy works, what steps we can use to ensure adequate phototherapy and how to support babies, parents during phototherapy. The point I make about intensity of phototherapy (ie, not using single phototherapy much in practice) is my individual opinion-to reduce duration of phototherapy which has tangible benefits (and no obvious harm).
