I know sticking past the bumper isnt for you but it is a good thing due to the potential of melting your bumper if the car commonly shoots flames. Looking forward to seing it back on the road bud.
I’m just happy to see you wrenching on the Supra again lol. PHR stuff is awesome, so glad they’re around to keep the SUPRA realm from going stagnant. The kit looks awesome and good that they’re helping you out, that’s rare these days. BTW I’m going to keep giving you crap til you add me on FB 🙃
First time we lowered an MR2 in my driveway we were ghetto-rigging three big C-clamps to unload the first spring. Three of us were trying to keep it stable. The c-clamps popped the spring cracked the corner of my driveway, flew straight up in the air and we never saw it again. How none of us received a broken jaw or were killed is a mystery as we were over it about half the time. We took the other three springs to our friend’s shop and unloaded them properly LOL
But the audio plain sucks. I want to watch these video's but the echo chamber he is in drives me nuts. I don't understand how he doesn't notice it when he edits video. Seriously obnoxious.
Its super easy changing wg springs by yourself, if your smart about it and use one of those c- clamps with the plastic pads and a little piece of cardboard.
I prefer either an equal length header (HKS sound) or an unequal length header (Greddy/Boost Logic sound). I just couldn’t figure out which side your manifold aligned with....yours sounded kinda raspy, but smooth?...I jus...I just couldn’t figure it out man. Also, the Cast Iron exhaust manifolds sound great too - almost like a 7MGTE stock exhaust manifold.

It was that car/ride in a 2JZGTE Mk3 Supra that gave me motivation to do my swap. And recently, I just bought that exact same manifold from Driftmotion too. Aaron even had his welder reinforce it with rods from the T4 flange to the exhaust port flange. It’s DM’s cheapest exhaust manifold they offer for the 2JZGTE single turbo but it works (and sounds) pretty good for 400-700whp. 😎👍
@@damnitdang It was great - sounds incredible. Definitely needs modifications to fit my S363sxe BW turbo in the Mk3 Supra engine bay; but otherwise, performed as expected.
I’m using the speed-factory kit on the 1j. Should be the same. IDK, your decision. At lease polish them or something. Sorry, just being picky/ judgmental haha! I gotta give some grief. Lol!
sucks that the install cant be done in a day. not sure if you have been following David Paterson aka ThatDudeInBlue, his 2JZ blew up again and it wasnt a big power figures he is running just 500bhp and blew up the 3rd motor something is def odd there either the 2JZ wasnt built properly or the tuning was bad
@@Will-kk8wf well looks like they need experts like Haltech. The ECU should have run the car in limp mode at the sign of trouble. But the car was running with 3 cylinders have gone bad. Like what the hell?
