Here is my exercise : - the wind tore at my hair because I was running very quickly . - he has to tear himself away from his little baby otherwise he is going to be late for work . - I'm going to tear down my old house to build a new one . - I'm angry with my lovely dog because he tore my new shoes apart . - my boss always tear apart my reports to find out a mistake . - the teacher tore into his students when he realized they had told lie . - Dane tore up the receipt into pieces and put it into the trash .

Hi sir, I have a question relating to a grammar issue. First, Here is the sentence: Because he did many bad things, it follows that he is a bad guy. I know that the verb " follow" can be used as a transitive and intransitive verb, and I also know that the noun clause can be used as a ( subject, object, subject complement etc...) So, is " follow" used as an intransitive verb in the example above or not. Is " that he is a bad guy" the object of " follow"? Or not This example is written in an English dictionary considering " follow" in this case as intransitive verb.
