That’s one of the thing I love about Thailand, if I leave my bag or forget sunglasses , it will always be there. Where I’m from in the US, Gone before you could blink
That old bus used to be the public transport back in the mid 80's. Back then there was no ring road around the island connecting the beaches, you had to catch one of these buses into Phuket Town then change to another bus for the next beach. So from Patong to Kata you had to travel via Phuket Town. No taxi mafia back then either. Soi Bangla was a dirt track.
Some things are pretty expensive actually! In Norway the hot chicken is 150 baht. I'm in Pattaya, 1hr massage 150 baht. That's cheap! 🥳 Top Gun cinema tickets 1,100 baht for a nice chair. But that is tourist price of course 🤩 No rain here for a few weeks
Love the videos keep them all really enjoying them could you tell me the number of the apartment that you’re stopping in because I’m coming for three months in November thanks hope to see more of your videos
Yet anothee excellent vlogg...in Tenerife at the moment scorching but thankfully no humidity...tried to call you but the WiFi here is shit..right off to breakfast catch laters Sean. M
I keep looking, how do I send you $10? If it was easy, like if there was a “buy me a beer” button I would gladly send you directly money for your efforts and accomplishment. BRAVO buddy! You’ve got big balls!
Hi mate I’m travelling to Thailand with my missus, hotel booked and paid for. I’m wondering for 3 weeks in Phuket obviously doing tours etc do you reckon we would be okay with another 1500 euro mate? We’ve already got 56000 baht along with it. Thanks, really enjoyed the video. Even in the rain it looked beautiful.
Thanks! No worries Sean? I'm currently getting my house ready for sale so I can do exactly what you are doing but on the east coast of Bali. You've got to try the North East coast road from Sanur to Medewi by horse. So much history and photogenic scenery you should pull at least 5 or 6 six vlogs out of your journey. Take care Thanks for the great entertainment. Tim NZ
Awww man. Starting to get a bit teary eyed 😢. Selling the horse. Leaving Thailand. FFS Sean 🤷🏼♂️. Take care wherever you go next. I think I read here in one of your replies you want to live in Portugal? If that's the dream buddy I hope you make it 🙏. I'll thank you now for all your Thailand vlogs. I've enjoyed every single one mate 👍
cheers buddy, I am off to Immigration today, so dont get sad, i may just be able to stay, yes buddy, I would love to buy a run down fruit farm in Portugal, they cheep you know
I've been interested on how are you going to sell the Horses. I remember when you purchased it and had it registered to the bike rental shop you purchased from. Great idea but you'll have to sell it back to the guy you brought it from. If you hired a bike for that time, likely there would have been 20,000km on the clock so a bit of wear and tear. Maybe cost 100 baht a day for how many days? If hired for 180 days then your looking at 18, 000 baht which is roughly £450.00. I've re ently hire a Honda Click 125cc for 3000 baht for a month. It's broken down twice. First bike had 21,000km on the clock, throttle cable broke. The second bike had 42,000km on the clock. The electrical component ceased working, no lights, indicators, speedomitor, etc. Your bike is a 155cc so it would have been more expensive to hire. I was in Rawai September 2019 and was paying twice the price for a bike then. I guess as demand for these bikes increase so will the price. I'm sorry I missed you in Rawai or Kata when you passed through. I remember your first video getting off the underground at Heathrow, I think you got off at the wrong terminal with all your luggage and winter coat and just smiled. I know you have plans to travel other lands. These days I just have 7kg or less carry on baggage. I will not lugg shit around anymore. Nice watching your journey. I particularly like the island videos.
Enjoyed todays Vlog Sean lucky at Big C with you money 💰 it that had been uk 🇬🇧 it would have gone 555.you’re right about that poor elephant, that’s stress makes them do that Sad 😞!!! Then Keemala resort looked 👀pretty cool 😎 shame we couldn’t see more and those condos on stilts really neat buddy ,very quiet down the main road in Kamala ,enjoy your meal and LEO at your local take care mate😎👍👍🙏🙏
It breaks my heart with the elephants. Being from South Africa and knowing how intelligent they are. It's so disheartening to see that. Never support those places.
Like your video style ,been around thailand samui and chiang mai being my favourite, I have to say phuket being my least favourite may i need to come back and give it another bash
Petrol appears expensive 2 litres 100 baht. Certainly more expensive than the $1.85 Aussie a litre we pay here. I guess the price of petrol is up wherever you are worldwide. Great name the Big C leaves plenty to the imagination. That adrenalin rush of losing something and the mind races a million miles an hour, hate that buddy. Experienced it myself the other day with my wallet. Its not good the older we get. Could live off the smell of an oily rag there just on bananas. Amazing value. BTW saw your interview with Ritchie on his channel Ritchie and Maybelle - Maybelle's Coffee Garden, enjoyed that. You mentioned you were going to try and get a visa extension for another 60 days. Has that changed? Anyway enjoyable vlog as always. Nice one Sean.
I quit my job in Asia and coming to Thailand in June, let's see if I can be a good boy (I rather doubt it). lol. May have to live in the sticks to avoid the distractions, dang.
Hi sean if you have your camping gear with you You should go to koh rap the island where the wild pigs are on the island it's a none tourist island that you can only camp on not sure what else is on the island but I'm sure you will find something there if you get there via boat Think you go via koh Madsum is it Think it will be up your street off the beaten track where not many have been
Thailand’s Public Health Minister confirmed that there are no laws forcing people to wear face masks, but he also sought cooperation from all parties, including Thai citizens and overseas tourists, in order to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 outbreak.
I was pulled over by police bike the other day after going through a tunnel which bikes are not allowed just heading out of Rawai heading to Tesco shopping complex. The police man said bikes not allowed to go through the tunnel, apparently too may deaths. He said, Licence, yep gave it. He said International licence. I said yes, gave it to him. He said, You good tourist, you wear mask. He let me go with no fine. I did have a helmet on and guys always wear shoes.
Well he arrived in November and never had a one year multi ,, I think he had a 60 day covid pass ,, but whatever he’s over 6 months in now from November ,, maybe he has been able to get a renewal ,, but I would that impossible without an air entry
nar buddy, i have had 1, 30 day visa extension that i did, Then 2, 60 day covid extensions by my Pattaya agent and wow, Today i am at Immigration to pick my passport up as i applied for a 3rd 60 day extension on Friday
Wow ,, how times have changed mate ,, that’s a lovely old job for you . Btw you mentioned going to Krabi , I can tell you about a place that would make a fantastic vlog away from the usual tourist toot at Ao Nang etc . It’s a bit of a journey but we’ll worth it , up early in the morning ride out past the airport to a place called Tiger Temple at the far left corner of the car park you will see the signs for Tiger Mountain , now I believe it says something like 1000 steps up there , now if you make it up as I’m sure you will being a lot younger and fitter than me you will have the most incredible views but vlogging the journey up will be fantastic ,, believe you me it isn’t easy and many fail on the way up as I did ,, I managed exactly 333 steps about a piss poor third of it I don’t mind admitting I was bolloxed . That was about 3 years ago ,, while your out that way if you turn left out of the place and carry on you will come to The Emerald Pool , beautiful place in the jungle with many paths through it many wild animals and birds you will love it out there ,, would be a long old day but I done it all in a day ok and back to Ao Nang ,, good luck with it all and as I said before moving on to Penang next will make more fantastic vlogs with the ice cold Guinness made under licence and brewed at a wonderful 7.4% I believe , just make sure your accommodation isn’t too close to a mosque as you know what they do in there all hours of the night 😂😂👍👍🚀
Mr. Vlogger I've lived on the Island for 29 years have you visited any of the Elephant sanctuaries here? could be worth one of your Vlogs,I often bike around the Island visiting the Elephants especially through the Pandemic and donated money to feed them as I said carry out research first before commenting because after all, you are only............A tourist here.
well, Im not a fan of animals being kept in captivity, i have seen lots of Elephants hear, lots of them with the mental illness of swaying caused by not being free, its very sad
@@thedeadhorse How long have you been in Thailand ? and how many elephants have you visited here, you made a comment about that young Elephant having no Tuskds and they had probably been removed?Only Bull Elephants grow tusks my man and Elephants here are worth a small fortune especially the Burmese Elephants that Work all over the Island on construction sites where they cant get heavy machinery in,After the Tsunami in Khao Lak Burmese Elephants were used to clear all the beaches I know because I was there Helping. So my advice to you is learn more about the countery the people and the Culture before making very silly ill informed comments on you tube,Enjoy youre stay here safe travels and remember youre a Guest in this Beatitull kingdom.
They are £7 per kilo those bananas 🍌 in the uk Sean we have Bananas 🍌 from South America there crap 💩 mate custard tarts my favourite Sean I left my passport Sean drove back 40 minutes someone handed it in it isn’t london there quiet good like that in Thailand have you met 20 seconds rob an American Sean you tuber your on he’s stumping ground 😂
The world's full of working class guys.. its become too expensive to live in uk now on a normal wage..especially for pensioners and those on benefits.. brexshit and covid has ruined our economy. More of us will be moving to Asian countries to live decently on low money...I am off to Philippines soon..cheaper than Thailand... 66 Philippines peso to the pound..thats a good rate. 10,000 peso is £150 . Ordinary workers earn less then 5000 peso per week for 60 hours work...Philippines is still cheap place to live
what's with the standard moto helmet? Did the Phuket cops DING ya for the army helmet? They can be bad like that I hear, always looking to extort, erm, I mean fine :) farang.
