That Johnny Carson wasn't the host of the Tonight Show when Diller was booked? Jack Paar was.

Phyllis Diller doesn't get mentioned much in the same sentence as Lucille Ball, but she should. Plus, Phyllis wrote her own material. In my opinion, she was much funnier than Lucy. Lucy was a great comedic actress. Phyllis was a great comedian.

RIP Ms. Diller, you will be missed, Your laugh was a laugh starter.
