they said its the second smallest region they didn't compare it to wales, the smallest region is Rutland , so they were right N. Ireland is the SECOND smallest region in the UK
This is not true. I am English and some Winters can go to way below freezing. I remember being off from school for several weeks in the early1980s. The coldest ever recorded temperature in England was -26.1 C in 1982; - 27.2 C in Scotland. There are ski resorts in Scotland.
Unfortunately no one in Europe understands 3000 feet etc. Not even the Brits do nowadays. Aaaand Northern Ireland is seperated from Ireland by the Brits. It is not seperated from the UK by some water. Northern Ireland is supposed to be irish. How many people have died due to some "religious reasons"? - Too many. Anyway, Brexit will make the Scots split from the UK and make Ireland reunite again. Probably the best thing BoJo has ever done. Us Germans love (and hate) being reunited.
@@georgebarnes8163 Great Britain = England, Scotland , Wales UK= England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland Republic of Ireland was not part of any mention above.
@@aquarius5264 Indeed, I have seen the same and they are all wrong, The Isle of Mann pays the UK for its protection as the IOM has no military at all so the Island is called a British protectorate just like the isles of Guernsey and Jersey.
