Hey what would think the likelihood of scoring an ND contract getting the minimum passing score? As of right now i haven’t taken the PST but I believe my swim, run and sit-ups will reach the competitive standard, but I’m definitely lacking in push ups and pull ups (but can reach min requirements) Great videos BTW
It's hard to say what the current needs of the ND community are. Ensure you are practicing your PST with the same breaks in between and the events staggered in the same manner (swim followed by push/curl/pull-ups, followed by the run) in order to get an accurate measure of where you are progress-wise.
Do you have any reference (NAVADMIN/MILPERSMAN) that shows the updated standards? Perhaps you’re regurgitating “competitive scores” from your mentor/coordinator/scout/recruiter?
I’m not sure if you’re still active on here, but I’m current USMC training for Navy EOD after I get out. Would it be different getting in as prior service? If so, what parts? I know I won’t be attending boot camp, just at my own pace osvet classes with time to train, so I shouldnt lose conditioning as much as other candidates.
Color blindness is a disqualification for AW-AIRR as well as many other jobs (ratings) in the Navy, because the Navy tends to use red and green lights to designate port and starboard side of the ships & aircrafts.
