Subscribed! So hard to find PTA youtubers! I just put in my application and will know something after August! I am stressing out and just keeping an eye on my emails
I have a question, I need to retake classes because their old and also to bump my GPA, but the thing is I really don't have any money. I'm sorry, I know this is a lame excuse. I feel really bad myself and feel sad all the time to be broke. I'm 55 years old live alone and live paycheck to paycheck. I mean, I'm really broke. Always negative in my bank because I'm trying to pay bills and at time get eviction notices but I end up paying on my next check but putting my other bills behind. I work in the ER as a tech and work 3-4 12-hour shifts. I go home really beat. I have a low GPA and it's causing me to not get chosen for any school for PA, DPT, Nursing, or Respiratory. I really want to be a physical therapist and I know that I would be really happy and good at being PT. I've been a tech in the ER for 17 years and I feel burnt out and don't want to be in the ER anymore. Please help me out and advise me on where to look for help. Thank you.
Hey Danielle, nice video! So how's the PTA career going for you and how's the job outlook in the future? I plan to apply at my community college for next year's fall semester.
Eugene Barretto Haha it is going really interesting actually! I actually took my board exam... and let’s just say it didn’t go well. I plan on making a video later on that but if you pass the board exam there is really no reason you shouldn’t be able to find a job :) Definitely apply and let me know how it goes! It’s a wonderful career!
I did Rover when I was in school! That was perfect for me because I could work around my school schedule. Some of my classmates did that but it totally depends on what you have time for and what you think you can handle! Thanks so much for watching! ☺️
It was Mon-Friday and usually we would start around 8 and either end around 2pm or 4pm ish! I think the first semester we had Fridays off but it’s been so long it’s hard to remember! Thanks so much for watching! ☺️
Love the dog! Thank you for the info. Looking for my son. He got his bachelors in Exercise Science. Did and internship. He decided he didn’t want to be physical therapist but possibly a PTA.
That is something I’m going to have to look further into and do some more research. I do know the APTA is going to do their best to fight for PT’s and PTA’s. I feel like this career field isn’t going to go away or anything. There is just so much need for it right now. That’s just my opinion though. As I said before, I do need to do more research!
What would be your advice for people looking to get into PTA school concerning the whole 2022 reimbursement change in the profession? As someone who's looking to get in the field, I definitely want to know how that's gonna affect the profession.
I want to do pta after high school because I feel like it's better for me but people are stating that pta are a dying field and it's hard to find a job can you respond to this comment please because I don't want to make a mistake picking the wrong career.
I haven’t heard that PTA is a dying field! I’ve never had an issue finding a job. If you want, you can check if there are PTA job openings in your area and kind of determine the need for them! I hope that helps!
Hey! Good question! I went to school in VA! If you want to know which school DM me at dani.stuller. I just don’t want to put that out into the public yet! Thanks!
beatriz avellan That is a great question! Here was how my classes laid out that first semester. Some programs have a different schedule though 😊 I hope this helps!
