Messi is literally a Ninja. When someone comes charging at him, he senses it immediately and turns his squishy part of his body towards the force of impact. He absorbs the impact and use the energy to launch himself towards the ball. And then he carries on. Fucking Ninja Mate.
Taking on Gvardoil in WC was another demo of his strength. Gvar literally tried to shove him off in the box before the assist, but Man kept going. Also with the ball he was quicker than one of the best defenders of the world cup. Pure class
Messi is small but his ability to avoid injuries while being at end of the most horrific tackles is remarkable. Don't forget he played successfully against prime real Madrid and prime Atletico, the two most physical teams in the world. And messi has always avoided long term injuries. And some people really think he'll be unsuccessful in the EPL? Boy he will toy with people in that league.
Lol he won't do shit against premier league teams while playing with a premier league team. You messi fans with "could" "would", cr7 has proven himself doing it, all about messi is just he COULD do that, he WOULD do that like shh
Yes he is one of the strongest and physically stable players of his generation and to think that he is 169 cm just tells how beautiful the game of football can be. Another example: Prime Eden Hazard
Use your arms and bend your knees when you go for a duel , thats what keeps messi on his feet .also Neymar isn't that strong but when he has the ball stronger players find it hard to get the ball from him because he uses arms to keep them away.
Messi is beautiful. Honestly I'm a big fan of CR7 an man utd. But I know deepest in my heart thay no one, nobody, will ever replace Messi even maybe in 100 years. Messi is born this way and he trains himself a lot too, it's becoming more perfect. And with his gameplay he can even play until 40 41 42 idk.
Never again we witness a player like Lionel Andres Messi.thank you for making football in the high standard.Nobody is come close.the sad day when he hang his boots! incredible incredible player!
@@arkodebganguly2123 I don't remember him a single time dribbling to more than 2 players effectively not even in MU, he used to do lots of fancy useless skills to proced to dive or pass, he is not smart when dribbling, allways been like that
@@diegolisandror2 no man sorry can't agree with you ronaldo's dribbling at manU was phenomenal...created a hell lot of chances for his team..real madrid wouldn't pay 85mill for nothing.
@UCdbnuFDB20BD2ts_B69RToA Because he was undersized. He's a completely normal human now. If it was so easy to get HGH, then all of us should get it and be strong, but that's not the case. Messi had growth hormone deficiency. HGH was used to treat that disease, not as an enhancer.
He might get the chance in 2022. The team is more relaxed now because they ended their trophy drought with the Copa América. The team is also determined.
I'm a fan of messi's ability to hold his ground (literally) and not diving most times where other players would have dived right away👏👏 Pure class with right technique and strong mindset. This is coming from a madrid fan👏 #Respect
@@_.aisxhikkk_ there are millions of madrid fans in India dude😆 We even go to screenings for clasicos in local cafes sometimes. The fan following of madrid and barca is huge. People stay awake till 3 to watch the UCL as it starts at 01:15 AM🤗
Although Im not Messi fan but i gotta say we often hear people talking about Messi dribbles and stuff but no one really talk about his strength . His strength make him an incredible dribbler. This video should get more views than that
From my personal experience into football, I remember that small players with excellent control and skills were insanely hard to push off the ball because it was nearly impossible to push them because they were smaller. That's why I tackled them.
He always refuses to get down back then that's why he named one the best dribbler Ronaldo was dribbling well in man u but he stopped after learning how to dive lot of players just dives to get foul rather than keep going
ronaldo's dribble in united isn't that effective. it was beautiful, yeah. but just like ronaldinho, he used too much techniques but the penetration is nowhere near as great as messi. but then he didn't dribble much in madrid, he's becoming a more effective finisher and that's better for the team. for me madrid's ronaldo is much better than united's
@@andiezacky He changed his playing style because of tendinosis injury to his knee that what prevented him to move more to a central forward, till the season 13/14 he was top dribbler and also he scored 69 goals that season, previous seasons also he scored 55,60 around goals. It is the injury that changed his playstyle, not to match Messi. Also in Cristiano's first season at juve he was back to his dribbling way,in that season he had 2 dribble/game.
I just love the way he stays on his feet and fights through contact this is how football should be played he never dives and he’s brought down he immediately gets on his feet and doesn’t ask for a foul or roll for about 50meters like some do
@@AbdulmalikBaaba Argentina vs Venezuela match will shock you. Messi almost got his leg broken but continued to play. Check the awful challenge made on him.
A phenomenon in football, I don't think we will see the like again. Wonderful player with passion talent and hunger to score goals. Best ever player in my opinion
Smart movement and quick thinking for crucial decisions. I always acknowledge Messi as someone that is smart. He could dive in most of the tackles thrown at him (and probably will get away with it) but he decided not to do it.
I'm glad somebody finally made a video about this. I've thought for a long time that he's the strongest player in the world, physically and mentally. Plus the bravest. He gets attacked by three, four, five, six people,is brutally fouled, and somehow picks himself up (if he can) and keeps going. Also he gets punched, slapped, kicked which would send everybody else to hospital and months of recuperation and he gets back in a week or two. He is truly superman.
I think Messi is super smart to hit opponent into his shoulder exactly in the right moment that the opponent dont expect it, or even if he does, the timing is crucial, always into Messi"s favor..
@@Fanboy1222 he is definitely the greatest of all time, Messi is like 5' 7, I'm 5' 8 and play football, I must be the biggest baller of all time now if I'm taller than Messi 😂
@@Fanboy1222 alright hahaha, in English, biggest could mean the tallest, and I was like, Lionel Messi, 'biggest'? Give me a wee bit of whatever you're smoking 😂
@@diegolisandror2 Who was the player who said that? I wanna see the interview. I believe it because Messi easily knocks defenders down, but I just wanna know which player said it 😂
Due to messi's speed, acceleration and low centre of gravity it allows him to generate enough force to shrug off bigger and taller players. I have noticed this myself because I play as a left winger and is 5'4"
Very intricate details you noticed there. Simply amazing analytical skill. I have watched like a hundred hours of Messi’s football and never seen a yt channel as smart as this
To be honest, it's not just his strength, but a combination of incredible balance and body control that keeps him on his feet in a variety of situations.
It is also about his willingness to keep playing!! Other players, with the same control and balance, would have already dived to get the defenders yellow-carded and gain a free kick.
If you think how few injuries Messi had in the past 15 years, you know how strong he is. If consider so many body contacts or fouls to stop him, but he still can play almost every game, every minute! That is hard to believe, ridiculous, amazing!
I think it's his mentality. Adrenaline rush and his will to strike it's what truly pushes him foward to his ultimate even when they drag him down. Comes back up!
I think this is due to balance because of his below average height and defenders also feel it hard to give push to him from sides due to height (no hate just logic)
And also HGH injections..don't let this fool u...barca has been boosting Messi with illegal injections... If other players were given these injections they would be on top as well
Not only strength and balance, it is also about his willingness to keep playing!! Other players, with the same control and balance, would have already dived to get the defenders yellow-carded and gain a free kick.
Time passes by so quickly 😭 I never thought about it until now. He's 34... he may have 2 or 3 good seasons left in him... Leo Messi, you are the magician of the field. Thank you for everything.
He’s actually not too short, he’s around 5’7 which kind of leaves him on the short side of average. He has short legs but a large upper body, people with that type of build have more explosive power and incredible balance. Think about Tyson, he was only 5’10. Another good example is prime hazard; same height as messi and he had 6ft defenders toppling over trying to get a grip on him
@@losclxii316 heights are kind of distorted honestly, if you look at a site called celebheights they get the real heights of athletes. You're right though Messi is closer to 5'6 than 5'7 and hazard is 170cm so 5'7. I guess it looks better to employers to bill your height up a couple inches, not like anyone would notice
He has an amazing center of gravity, his balance is absolutely 2nd to none, yes Cristiano does some insane physical stuff but let's give this some credit , this is absolutely insane for such a small guy to keep going after those tackles.
@@marjansarec2337 the man is 36 years old still hitting over 30 goals a season in a new league and new country in probably the weakest juventus team in close to 10 years. Same too for messi. There's nothing to choose between the 2 .
To have such a perfect balance and low center of gravity, you have to have a super strong core muscles So yeah in a way Messi is really strong for his size
Messi is special because he is so small yet when he gets tackled he’ll glide past everyone almost like if he’s weightless. Don’t think we’ll see another player like this in a while. Most just cry and complain, dive and act like they got hurt.
He's just very agile and balanced. It's a surprise that he hasn't got alot of serious injuries with the amount of times people have gotten yellow cards doing bad challenges on him.
Inspiring all short people out there! You have no idea how much this means. Being short if you're a man, can make you feel weak, and that feeling might be inescapable for your entire life, but this man still proved none of that matters. Truly a pleasure seeing Messi dominating the field, whilst being a simple person in terms of physical attributes.
We’re lucky to have two of the greatest players of all time playing in our generation in Messi and Ronaldo, but Messi is just on another level to anybody that has ever touched a football. Absolutely amazing.
Don’t wanna hear any kid comparing any new player with this guy, don’t even utter them in the same sentence. From this moment, no matter who wins the ballon dor currently, it’s just because this man had to grow old eventually but we may never see this type of dedication and quality for many many generations to come AND he won everything individually and team success.
@@esclips10watch messi play and take notes. He can probably barely squat 185 but his positioning makes him extremely difficult to knock off the ball. And if you're going to lift weights, work on core and lower body more than anything.
@@esclips10 you need to get your body/center of gravity low when coming into tackles/shoulder to shoulder situations to make yourself difficult to move off the ball and work on geting your shoulder in front of theirs to draw fouls. You'll need to work on it a lot in training with your teammates to get good at it, but proper positioning is far superior to brute strength
Am a chelsea fan,i hate barcelona 13yrs ago but when they play they put smiles on the faces of everyone including theirs opponents with the beauty of their games.Deep inside your heart as a barca opponent we know we are facing maters.
