Visit ilectureonline.com for more math and science lectures! In this video I will show you how to find the direction of the forces of a charged particle in 8 different magnetic fields using the right-hand rule or left-hand rule.
You're great. I've been watching your lecture since physic 111 and now I'm in 112 and still watching your lecture. simply you're the best. thank you very much and I hope you are always in good health.
Michael I want to tell you that I enjoy listening to your explanations. I listened to other people's explanations about the video you're showing and you're the best.
Once again Professor, it is amazing how you are able to teach (and make you be understood), to give the right examples, to navigate through different subjects and, at the same time, same subject (science) integrating all the information. Your playlists are also very helpful and well organized. Thank you so much!
more EFFICIENT way to find the force on the charge: 🤚 4 fingers together, thumb stretched. + charge right hand, - charge left hand 1) point 4 fingers in the direction of the magnetic field. 2) rotate hand so that thumb points in the direction of the charge. 3) the force is the direction where palm faces.
thank you so much, best tutorial, even though my school teaches palm=force, finger=b-field and thumb=direction of particle, i still managed to understand you, very good questions too
Thank you so much- my teacher cant explain anything right and all my text books explain this horrifically too but this video is amazing - i finally understand this- far better than the hand rule thing- easy steps to follow
I was in the search of a video like this coz i could not understand how to find the direction of force , this video is literally a life saver for me 😭 thanks
Literally the only video that helped explain the right hand rule method thank u! U did the hand not the individual finger one I’d like to see both but still really appreciated this one. Maybe the full hand method is easier.
Thank u so much... it helps me a lot.. bcoz i had forgotten it.. thanks to remind me... and I liked the left - right hand trick .... it makes so easier..
my already explained these examples in the class but i was not able to understand. but after watching this video its really very easy now. thank you very very much sir
questions in in my course look so different from this . it shows the direction on everything in 2d but still we deal with the z direction. sooo confusing. need help
Learnt from youjust now to use LH and RH for + or - charges. Thanks for teaching this. I use a simillar one viz palm rule . The fingers point in B direction, thumb in V the direction of palm gives that of the force . This is that a bit easier to remember as field lines being large in # are rep by fingers and the palm , which can push things gives the direction of force . Tried the 8 eg as you taught with the palm rule and matched well. Thanks again
Have been watching your videos since last year sir I bet anyone anyone who found you accidentally is one of the luckiest student ever! Just wanna say thank you sir :)
I think those of you who can see this video are really happy. There are few such good free teaching videos here, and there are few opportunities for self-improvement out of school
